@crimilde Also Koei Techmo is doing a great job at getting someone who despises Souls games excited for their Nioh. Do you think it'll be a different area?

@Haru17 Yeah they said it'll be a new area. :D I'm very excited about it.
You know if you think about it, the combat is not that Soulsy when you look at it in depth. I mean just the stances, ki regen and the fact that you have lots of combos and you can customise the combo chain makes it a whole different venture, for me at least.

I kinda wish EZA had a "Convention Hype" stream or something. Much like when Brandon/Kyle watched Pokemon Origins, a few allies would sit down and watch the trailers, and then have brief reactions.
As I type this I realize that it falls under "Trailer Score" territory, and Brandon wouldn't want to compromise or do a half-hearted trailer process.
But it definitely feels like we are missing out on hearing their thoughts on this stuff. We just wait and hope that it gets brought up in one of the popcasts.

@crimilde I know it doesn't feel like Dark Souls, and that's why I like it. At least in DS1, the attack animations and audio/visual feedback wasn't fun. Anyway, I actually appreciate those systems now that they're paired with a combat system I enjoy.

Gears of War 4: dont care for shooters
ReCore: for some reason this looks like a indy game to me
Mafia 3: no interest at all
Attack on Titan: meh
The Surge: this sadly looks really generic to me i did get enjoyment out of lords or the fallen though
NHL 17: probably my next game purchase buy them every year
Grow Up: meh
as you can tell i have picky tastes in gameing

@FF7Cloud ReCore looks like an indie game because it's made by Inafune's studio, just funded by Microsoft with a cinematic trailer. The game still looks wonky though.
And yes, you are picky, lol.

@Haru17 Are you sure his studio is working on it? I thought it was a partnership between him and the guys who made Metroid Prime?

@Brofessor_Preston Both Comcept, who made M#9, and Armature, who do ports and dev assistance (and who're from Retro), are working on the game.
