Zero Time Dilemma - 3DS or Vita?
-
I've played through 999 on the DS and Virtue's Last Reward on the 3DS, but I am having a bit of a ..dilemma.. on what to do about Zero Time Dilemma.
I love using the bottom screen on the 3DS and the memo pad and everything works really well, but as ZTD is using a more 'cinematic' approach with much better graphics, I think it will just LOOK much better on the Vita. Plus it will still be able to utilize touch controls, and on a bigger screen.
What system will you get Zero Time Dilemma on ? Why ?
-
Well I am going to be playing it on PC. My Vita is dead and I don't own a 3DS
-
I'll get it on the Vita because it looks better and the Vita's more comfortable to use over longer periods of time, in my opinion. I also own VLR on the Vita and it played perfectly.
-
im still torn between 3ds or pc, portablility is really cool, but the graphics are so much better on pc
but its not like its a powerhouse either so it could go either way
the release date might force me to 3ds
-
Definitely Vita just because it's look better and personally, the vita is a lot more comfortable.
-
I played VLR on both the 3DS and Vita, and while the colors were more vivid and it generally looked for crisp on the Vita, I'll be getting the 3DS version of ZTD. I want my copies of 999/VLR/ZTD to look nice on my shelf altogether as DS/3DS games.
Either way, this is one of my most hyped games ever. I love Zero Escape.
-
I think it has to be 3DS for the stylus usage in the puzzles
-
I hear its coming for PC, so I'd say go for that.
-
is there Trophy support on the Vita version?
-
Well someone posted videos of a scene for both versions and Steam.

@piratefetus I'm sure there is. That's where I platinumed VLR.
Also going by those videos, the Vita is definitely much cleaner looking.
Of course if you have a PC, that's probably best.
-
@piratefetus Yep. Sony actually won't allow games to be released on PSN without trophy support anymore.
-
I came to say 3DS because it's more comfortable to hold and found a bunch of people saying Vita for the same reason. So... I'd vote for whichever one you prefer to hold! I've had a Vita for years now and still find it to be very poorly designed as far as comfort (but I am one of those monsters who loved (and still loves) the PS3 controller and was baffled when people said they hated it).
-
@RoyalCactopi I know right. I keep saying the same about dualshock 3 too. I think its the greatest controller ever made
-
Trophies and better screen make me go with the vita.
Is the 3DS second screen used in any clever way?
-
Talking about it here since the other thread is more about the previous Zero Escape games - as a heads up to anyone who preordered, it looks like the watch in the limited edition is delayed because they were damaged.
I'm completely fine with this, especially since the game itself is still shipping to people on time. Plus, they said everyone is getting a small bonus with the watch for the delay.

So i ended up getting it on pc, hopefully its the right choice
