Reall digging the overall style of this game. Having a hard time finding anything to compare the environments and character-designs to... Which is great! Combat looks very fluid with some pro-dodging going on. The original Nier still doesn't look compelling enough me, but this definitely has my attention.

As soon as I heard platinum was helping with this game I was all in, looks so fucking good.

Looks great. Loved the first game, I wasn't even too bothered by the combat. Not everything needs to be super flashy. Still I'm glad to see this much improved combat.

It looks very sleek, but I really want to see a quest, town, fishing or boar drifting. I'm a little bit nervous there aren't any of the things I loved about the first Nier in Automata, and this will just be an action game. My message to Square Enix is not to be scared to show RPG elements. I almost didn't play the first Nier because they were too scared to show anything I cared about. Those promotional trailers for the first game made it look like a bad God of War clone with a He-Man look-a-like protagonist.

The landscapes does look dry but having played the first NIER and its awesome AWESOME story and having platinum games in on it. I don;t think this game can go wrong. From what I've seen it looks like a game that I am going to really dig deep in and unlock everything. Its almost as fast as Bayonetta which in my books is the greatest action game of all time.

I still don't undrestand why Sony didn't put games like Nier, Gravity Rush 2 and Persona 5 on E3!!? But they willing put Lego games instead.

@Danjin44 I think they feel that western press wouldn't appreciate those very japanese games.
they are probably right but it really could have added a lot to their conference.

@Danjin44 JRPG's are really difficulty to showcase especially when you have so little time at the press conference to cram all the stuff in. They have to sending out the big stuff and by big I mean dramatic like god of war and batman and last guardian.

I just want to see those games do well and bet u it would if people know thier exstance.

@Danjin44 I know just how you feel dude. I won't lie but you can't imagine the amount of times I cried after playing Nier, Persona titles and other niche JRPG titles and was awestruck and quite sad as to why these games are not front runner at major gaming events. They are pure brilliance!
