How will multiplatform games be handled? Say one person likes it on PS3, and another on Xbox 360? Will they be combined into a single title?

@Oscillator Doesn't matter because i will put all the platforms a game was released on in the presentation. So yes they will be basically one title!

Just sent you mine. That was way tougher than I thought, but at least that's the top 30 for me.

Man this was tough. Had to cut a few top 30 so I could give some kudos to other games.

And I have sent my list finally after a lot of changing around and arguing with myself over which is the better game. Also tried to keep it to 1 game per franchise! which were harder than I thought :D

It'll be interesting to see how this all shakes out with the various self imposed restrictions people are implementing.
Some of the games on my list I haven't finished. Some of you may not even consider games you haven't finished on your lists. Some of you are limiting yourself to one game per franchise, I think I have 3 Final Fantasy games on my list.

Yeah I am also curious to see how people judge their top 30. Is it just their personal faves or are they including "classics" that maybe they didn't really love themselves but include because of legacy?It'll be fun to see what unusual games make the list in the end.

I learned something today: I don't feel passionately about 30 different games. Not 30 that have come out or that I would consider "GOAT," anyway. When you get down to Brothers and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, you're reaching.
(sigh) I guess I should play through the labyrinthine Final Fantasy and Metal Gear lineage, huh?

@Haru17 Haha I really had to think long and hard! But I also brought in some PS1 games even though I havnt played them in years they still lies warmer in my mind than some more recent games. I also limited myself to 1 game per franchise so half the list wouldnt just be final fantasy!
I believe a mix of old and new are good :D

@Haru17 How many games have you beaten? I've beaten around 190 and it was hard to settle on a top 30 because I really enjoy most of the games I play. There's quite a few I left out that I wish I could have kept in.

@benoit489 I don't count. Generally, though, I don't play that many games because I enjoy even fewer.

According to my backloggery I've beaten 580, but it's actually more as I only count games there I actually own, but I used to have a C64 with many games and also used to rent many console games as child/teen so I'd say up to 650 I think.

how are we handling contiguous games? seperate entries or all as one?
like there's 4 parts to dot hack and 3 parts to dot hack GU, 3 parts to shining force 3 etc etc
should I put those kinda things as a single game? otherwise my list would be flooded with these kinda games
