@Musou-Tensei, Infinite Space is a very good addition!
My number 19 is Elite Beat Agents, I'm actually surprised no one else put on this list! This rhythm game is actually a sort of sequel to "Ouendan", the Japanese original, but Elite Beat Agents is making improvements where needed while retaining the same charm, humour and enthusiasm as the original, and it is very addictive!!

I've never had a DS. :(

A really great game, and rather hidden gem. It was the spiritual successor to Tail Concerto, if anyone played that.

I've never had a DS. :(
@TokyoSlim, if you have a 3DS you can play the complete library of the Nintendo DS, even games from different regions, so at least get a 3DS, you don't know what you are missing!
-
@BlazingBahamut I have a Gameboy color somewhere, I think.
-
@TokyoSlim, time to upgrade, and you can play gameboy, gameboy color, NES and SNES games on it as well! What is holding you back?

- Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
@TokyoSlim , I have a PSVita as well, both are essential gaming platforms in my opinion, certainly if you love Japanese games and because of the gigantic games library (PSX and PSP on the VITA, DS, gameboy, gameboy color, NES and SNES on the 3DS) of both systems!
@Churchy , great addition, better than Trace Memory in my opinion in its genre!
For number 23 I have chosen a JRPG only available on the DS, and it was the triumphant return of Shin Megami Tensei I/II/Nocturne's trademark brand of nut-stomping, soul-crushing fun!!
-
How strict is the franchise rule? Mario games occupy so many diverse genres, and I would love to see Bowser's Inside Story on here.
-
@Billy If I don't get Partners in Time, you don't get the anatomical humor one ;)

The top 25 DS games is list is set! A massive thank you to everyone who contributed with their games of choice. I just want to point out I'm surprised not a single Legend of Zelda was nominated, nor the highest (average) scored game, GTA: Chinatown Wars. I'm also a big fan of this list because there are a LOT of games here I've never heard of! Thanks for broadening my horizons in gaming. Now onto the main event...

Are you though?
-
@Haru17 Yes. 25 games have been picked and Kill Your Babies is already underway.
-
@Brannox, I'm not completely surprised no Legend of Zelda was nominated, because The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks are for many two of the weakest entries in the whole series, but I still enjoyed them!
-
@BlazingBahamut Hey thanks! It's an amazing title and fits the console so well. I did consider putting the sequel in as it's less well known, but Hotel Dusk is a classic in my mind.
