@FF7Cloud No I have not, simply because strategy games as a whole are not my kind of thing. However, Tactics would probably be the one I try, if ever, simply for being a FF game and having such great praise. Although, I've been BURNED by highly praised games several times.

@Sheria, 2 is also great. Had a grand time with 3, but I never got to experience 4 or 5.

But seriously, Tactics has its merits. But like IX, it's a FF that just doesn't speak to me.

I was pretty close to putting Suikoden on my list but I left it mostly because I want to play Suikoden 2 first since everyone says it's better.

I think there's no real hope anymore for Suikoden at this point, which sad since I'd love to see my beloved V in here ( ; _ ; )

Such lamentation! We're only HALFWAY!! AND we were promised plenty of surprises! Nobody should lose hope for many games.
