Selective Creation: Build the Best 25 Original Xbox Games List!

After a surprising round last go round, I think its time we get back to main consoles don't you? It's been a while for the green machine brand so let's build a list of the 25 necessary OG Xbox games. As always: Quick rule refresher for potential new players:

Here's the breakdown: You've been given the power to green-light 25 games, but here's the catch: these 25 games will be the ONLY games that the system will ever have. What should be the games that make the cut? By giving 25 select titles, you are essentially playing an inverse of Kill Your Babies.

You can only give one title per game, then you can give one for every three people that have added after you OR 24 hours have passed since the last addition, so think really hard about which game should be on the list. It could be your favorite game, or if your favorite is already present, then you can add another you hold dear. If you hate Xbox, then get to trolling if that makes you happy.

Also, to keep things a bit diverse, I'm instituting a TWO per franchise cap, so if two games of a particular franchise are on the list, a third CAN NOT be added.

Once you have given a game, please keep a running list going for the benefit of the next person that would like to play. Because I'm pitching the game, I will refrain from adding a game because it would be unfair for me to skew the list in my favor.

Also, while I would like to see Xbox exclusives, it IS permissible to go multi-platform, if you so desire. I can think of several games that appeared on multiple systems of the sixth generation that the Xbox did justice to

I'm going to do something unprecedented here, I am nominating a game that actually kinda stinks. It has interesting ideas but it flails wildly into repetition without any clear sense of direction. So why am I adding it to the list? Because without this game, some of my favorite song covers of all time wouldn't exist. Death Cab for Cutie covering Earth Angel and the absolutely stellar Mr. Sandman by Oranger. I fully expect this game to die in the next thread (although how do you kill a zombie?) but check out the soundtrack when you get a chance, it's excellent.

Also, @Brannox, the third paragraph in the original post mentions the PSP.

Personally I don't like it as much as the original but it's still 75% of the reason I own an Xbox at all, and it's still an awesome game, so I can't ignore it.

The most unique game for the console which once you get over the steep learning curve that is the 40 button controller which comes with a physical in universe Technical Manual it is actually a pretty good game. The sequel was really good but online only so it is completely unplayable today :( Still the original game has a lot going for it!

A really fun RPG, it sadly never got a sequel, very underrated and I like it better than Fable.

Well, I guess The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. I played this for about an hour at my cousin's house forever ago. I got out of jail, grabbed some spoons, picked the clothes off of a wizard who suffered MASSIVE FALL DAMAGE, and got killed by a tentacle monster (netch) in a swamp. GOTY.

SUCH a good title, solid gameplay but the game are really underrated and deserves much more press! tactical shooter in class of rainbow 6 series - if not better
