Kill Your Babies! X Out the Xbox!

  • Kill Your Babies! returns back to the console space. Next up, the Xbox! Time to strike and kill all that are unworthy of what will forever be known to me as where Halo and Xbox Live was born and the "Duke" came into being. Here are the rules for a refresher or for new players:

Rule #1: When you make a kill, give your reason why you are killing. Just taking it out isn't all that inspiring. Whether you truly dislike it, you strike out of revenge, you feel that there are other important titles that should have made it, or you have legitimate critiques, explaining your kill is necessary to validate its death. Yes, even to those of you who kill because their good (Because that makes sense :joy: )

Rule #2: Please keep the updated list for the benefit of other players. Cross through your kill to identify what's been chosen.

Rule #3: You may kill another game after only three other people have made a kill OR if 12 hours have passed. This should be plenty of time for others to get involved.

Rule #4: If you fail to give a reason, make a 2nd kill without allowing the time to pass/proper amount of players a turn, or if there is an unforeseen issue up for potential review, your kill may not be recognized. This rule is subjective to the situation and hopefully will not be implemented.

Rule #5: Per normal, we will have a straw poll for the final two. Please vote for the one you want to win, not lose.

Let me know if you have any questions. Your kills are your own, so please, be vicious, be remorseless, and most importantly: HAVE FUN!!!

This is very hard but I have to start with Wreckless as I never played it and all reviews I read back then were rather negative. I'd like to add it to my collection soon though, it's super cheap.

    EDIT: Done, lol.

The art style and character models in this game have always made me feel nauseous. I have heard great things about this game but my body isn't willing to play it without getting sick. Sorry to all those out there who love this game but just seeing it on this list has made me a bit queasy.

  • @Brandon_Reister Psychonauts so soon :'(, that just aint right.

Well there goes the one game I've played here, and the only one I really cared about, so I've got really no reference for most of these, and no interest in the winner anymore, so I'm out of this one.

Oh, come on. There are plenty of good reviews. It's got a 74/100 average on all the aggregators. Fantastic graphics, detailed levels, good difficulty, and solid fun.

Just for that, I'm taking out Morrowind. Oblivion made it look like ass, and the limited voice acting makes it show its age too.

I haven't played a lot of games on this list, but I still want to kill. I'm killing the zombie game because I'm tired of zombies. Even though this was before the recent craze!

  • @Oscillator I didn't look up international ones and only remembered the bad ones it got in german gaming magazines, which is why I didn't bought it back then as as money was a bigger issue as a trainee and I had to be much more selective.

While the concept is great and I wish I could experience it, having to to use a rather expensive and massive set of special controllers makes this a very hard and expensive to find game nowadays, a complete set is like 350€ and even though cheaper back then simply not a reasonable investment for me at that time and neither today.

  • You got rid of Steel Battalion because it's expensive and impractical? That's what makes it cool!!!

Dead or Alive is great when you're 12 but dem titties are problematic in more ways than just the jiggle physics!

  • @Oscillator I think it's still a better reason than "Because it's the best game on the list".

  • @thenerdtheword I could maybe understand that with DoAX but the regular DoA games are more than just boobs, they are actually good fighting games.

This entry is te weakest in the whole Halo series in my opinion, it has to go.

The rampant boobage of the more recent games has tainted the older titles. I loved DoA3 way back when but now I just look at it and cringe.

  • @Fridge-man They actually handled zombies in a unique way, but the gameplay was beyond repetitive. I just wanted that soundtrack to be brought up. I finally agree with someone killing one of my babies.

I normally wouldn't do this, but taking out the only game on the list left that I haven't played. While I bought Steel B just because of the novelty, Mech games never were my favourites really.

  • Ack, one of the best Xbox LIve games!

I never understood why Crimson Skies was more popular...most of the time you're flying in circles trying to find and get lined up with an enemy.

I have to do the same and remove the last game I havn't played, well, technically I haven't played Jet Set Radio Future either, only the demo and the 1st game on DC, but that's still more than with Breakdown, which I had to look up to remember what it is. Now it's getting really difficult.

While still a great game, there are other shooters on the list better than Black.

JSRF improves on JGR in. Every. Aspect.

Please share what is better about JGR, and I will counter with multiple things from JSRF. This is not a claim, it is gospel.
