Kill Your Babies! X Out the Xbox!

  • Panzer Dragoon Orta
    Halo: Combat Evolved
    Halo 2
    Jet Set Radio Future
    Gunvalkyrie
    Jade Empire
    TimeSplitters: Future Perfect
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly - Director's Cut
    Star Wars: Republic Commando
    Black
    Otogi 2: Immortal Warriors
    Shenmue II
    MechAssault
    Sudeki
    Breakdown
    Timesplitters 2
    Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

This entry is te weakest in the whole Halo series in my opinion, it has to go.

@thenerdtheword I could maybe understand that with DoAX but the regular DoA games are more than just boobs, they are actually good fighting games.

The rampant boobage of the more recent games has tainted the older titles. I loved DoA3 way back when but now I just look at it and cringe.

  • @Fridge-man They actually handled zombies in a unique way, but the gameplay was beyond repetitive. I just wanted that soundtrack to be brought up. I finally agree with someone killing one of my babies.

    Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

I normally wouldn't do this, but taking out the only game on the list left that I haven't played. While I bought Steel B just because of the novelty, Mech games never were my favourites really.

  • Ack, one of the best Xbox LIve games!

I never understood why Crimson Skies was more popular...most of the time you're flying in circles trying to find and get lined up with an enemy.

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

I have to do the same and remove the last game I havn't played, well, technically I haven't played Jet Set Radio Future either, only the demo and the 1st game on DC, but that's still more than with Breakdown, which I had to look up to remember what it is. Now it's getting really difficult.

    Shenmue II
    Sudeki
    Timesplitters 2
    Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

This is rough. But I made my choice. The original is preferred in my book.

While still a great game, there are other shooters on the list better than Black.

JSRF improves on JGR in. Every. Aspect.

Please share what is better about JGR, and I will counter with multiple things from JSRF. This is not a claim, it is gospel.

  • @Oscillator Jet Set Radio is a time attack, arcadey game where tagging is not just a checklist but the main goal. Jet Set Radio Future is an open world, "go at your own pace" game where tagging is instantaneous. I know they're part of the same series and JSRF is a sequel, but if I'm being quite honest with you I've always seen them as total opposites and never thought comparing them in a "X is better than Y on an objective scale" was an argument worth having. It's like Super Metroid and Metroid Prime. You can have your preferences but they're just too different for direct comparisons.

    Shenmue II
    Sudeki
    Timesplitters 2
    Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

Because Knights of the Old Republic is better.

Far from my favourite FPS. There's also two on here still and I preferred TS2 personally. Most of all though, I always saw TS as a PS2 series, probably because the first game is exclusive to the PS2. Minor thing I know, but whatcha gonna do.

OMG this must be the hardest list for me so far, I'm looking at it over and over and I don't know what to kill, so I'm just going with the game I have played the least so far, which i think is Gunvalkyrie which I only bought 2 years ago.

I can accept this. Thanks for clarifying.

I FAR prefer JSRF exactly because of what it is - open world, huge levels, tagging secondary to exploration. WAY better graphics too.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly - Director's Cut

    Timesplitters 2
    Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

This list is getting tough. Because if I am going to feel like a total badass while playing a game, I'll play Otogi over Mercenaries. At this point I feel crossing things off is just personal preference and liking one thing over another.

The only way to play Shenmue II is on the Dreamcast, carrying over your save data from the first game. Also it is not really a game that screams Xbox.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

    Star Wars: Republic Commando
    Otogi 2: Immortal Warrior
    Sudeki

There's a better Star Wars game still on the list imo. I also never found this game that good really.

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

For me, at least until Nintendo took it over, Fatal Frame was always a Playstation franchise, I never played them on Xbox, so yeah... hooray for good reasons, lol.
    This is just so hard.

  • How the heck did nobody vote for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory?

It was my favourite game on there but I would have done the same. I just don't associate it with Xbox.
