@Sentinel-Beach Agreed. I think that there was a lot to like about this one, but it didn't quite come together as nicely as it could or should have. I've found with the last few episodes that the first Act is top-notch, but the second isn't as strong or cohesive. I think if there had been more cut-aways like in The Office, it would have improved it a little bit whereas Amanda was the only one to I think use it. It also didn't help that they went off the rails a little bit when they said they would keep it straight this time. I would also have liked some more details about the pen convention, or scenes where they go around talking to various pen vendors and enthusiasts. Still, a decent episode. Look forward to the next one!
-
I don't know that they're capable of playing it straight, lol. With this crew it always gets weird. Maybe if Pen Witch hadn't been an option, haha.

One of my favourite Fiasco episodes.

I loved this month's episode. I was worried it was going to be so-so after the shaky start but it turned into 10/10.
Really want Brad in the next one though. He's got great characters and voices.
-
@Olf_Himself There were some really good parts to it, and Kyle and Brandon had the best characters and some of the best one-liners (Jones, you can't do that!). I still felt that this episode was so-so like the last few we have seen. They have a tough time sticking to plot ideas that are actually quite good without abandoning them altogether. I don't mind Ally submissions because they are great ideas, just poor execution. Moving forward, I'd like to see them do the first few of 2018 from the actual play sets before doing Ally ones. Besides, we still need a conclusion to the White Hole trilogy.

I’m very excited that the allies used my playset this month! I had a long shift today so I wasn’t able to finish the episode, but I’m going to try and see the rest tonight. Sorry about my very amateur writing. This was the first playset I ever made, so I hope to make better ones in the future. All the same I hope you guys enjoyed it!
-
I liked this, it was funny and managed to have a neat ending. Not too many loose ends, if any, which is always great. Kyle's transition surprises spiced the whole thing up really well, too.
-
Here it is. The tallest Christmas tree in the Nation! Actually no it’s just the tallest in Arizona this year. Guess we can’t win every one. Thought you all might get a kick out of seeing the tree that the playset is based off of. In 2014 they really did claim that ours was the tallest in America though.
-
@michemagius I could backflip right to the top of that thing. Good work with the playset, I loved it!
-
@SabotageTheTruth Thanks! And yeah, being the tallest in Arizona isn’t exactly that hard to do, we’re not really known for our trees. Unless you’re talking Palo Verdes, which really aren’t that impressive.

@DIPSET If you get a chance, there are a bunch of Fiasco APs at Bored Ghost (http://www.boredghost.com). They take things a little bit more seriously with their games, though I think the stories are hit or miss.

@nisshan Here are two that I made a while back that I posted on the thread before:

@michemagius that is amazing! I'm glad you came up with that, it was a fun episode.
@Tyler-Burns Thank-you for sharing this. I really really love Fiasco and I'm going to check this out immediately.

In today's Fiasconauts, Huber plays a female flight attendant. It goes about how you'd expect. lol
-
Huber's a madman. We all know it. Often it still manages to surprise us anyway, like now. :D What a stupid little story done very well, I had fun with it. The popculture reference was really the icing here.
-
@Sentinel-Beach I really appreciated how every single character has a Star Wars opinion.
-
I think this month's episode started a bit weak but turned out great, especially after they got grounded in Tokyo.
-
If I didn't already know how jolly Huber actually is, I would be terrified of him after watching this episode.
-
@SabotageTheTruth Huber is a man of two sides. One that is super jolly and loves everything, and another that loves horror and shot guns and apparently can really get into character as an embittered middle age flight attendant.
