But yo. For reals tho. Anybody else becoming unreasonably hype for XV lately?
I've just been eating up all the content they've been releasing for the game. We've had two demos, a feature length film, a series of anime shorts, and a dozen or so hours of gameplay available to watch.I think Squeenix are on the right track with this. They've already developed the world and a characters, and now they just need to let you loose in it.
Tl;dr can't wait to be disappointed!

I am getting more and more hyped for this game. I kinda dont want to get my hype up due to how 13 were really ruining it for me. However, I really get good vibes from this game and that Omen trailer really pushed the right buttons for me. I have watched the Anime as well but still need to watch kingsglave, but most likely will before I play the game.

@Lotias it's kind of a mess, but is useful for world building, I definitely think Brotherhood is the more crucial watch.

Yeah, they both kind of fall apart in the middle a little bit, but the set up and conclusion of Brotherhood and Kingsglaive are pretty excellentish.
Brotherhood ep. 5 would have been 1000% better if Noctis got blood all over him from killing the snake lady and it triggered his flashbacks, though. As it is he just kinda looks at the ocean and starts crying. Which is fine I guess.

@Lotias I felt the same. Every trailer or piece of story info that comes out makes me more intrigued and at this point after seeing Kingsglave my hype went through the roof. I feel this will be a damn good game and i hope it is.

So apparently the first half of the game is very Witcher-esque in it's open worldedness, but then you get to play Old Noctis and the game turns into linear stealth horror.
Excite?

@DMCMaster From what I understand, the second half of the game Noct goes solo and has to sneak through enemy territory, accompanied only by a
Arkham Knight style Joker-esque voicewhile being hunted by strange creatures.

The entire second half of the game is Tokyo Jungle 2, and you are Umbra.

New demo coming in early December covers the opening to the mid point of chapter 1, and PS4 Pro patch is also coming in December will offer 1080/60 or 4K/30

As for the 60fps news. If Sony plans to do this mid-gen leap bullshit I'm never buying another one of their consoles early again.

Judging from DF video on the Platinum demo it goes between 900p and 1080p depending on what is going on, although that is a older build of the game, although I think the build shown after the delay to November held 1080p pretty much all the time.
