The Banner SagaA recent game but a brilliant one. Not only does it have an intriguing narrative but the way the branching structure ties into the travelling and turn-based battles makes your choices meaningful and worthwhile. Not only does it have a gorgeous Norse-inspired art style along with a stellar score from Austin Wintory, but the narrative maintains a sense of desparate struggle that left me completely enthralled from start to finish.
