Welcome to the Easy Allies Forums!
@kaliber Welcome fellow Swede! Glad you found us here and fun to read about the impact EZA have had on you! :)

I see this thread doesn't get used super often, nonetheless it seemed like the best place for an intro post.
Long time fan of the allies, going all the way back to GT days. I appreciate the thoughtful commentary on games and gaming that they all provide. Their style is so much more appreciated than the current trend of zaniness or insincere reactions that come from many popular YouTubers/streamers. I grew up in the late 80s through the 90s so I find that many of the allies experiences with gaming resonate with my own.
Moved to an unfamiliar BIG city (Houston) and ended a rather long relationship in 2016, the allies in their infancy helped me through a lot of hard/lonely times. The traffic here is insane and the drive to work was made far more tolerable simply by listening to some EZA while in transit.
As mentioned previously, I've long consumed their media but never felt the need/desire to interact with the community. Hearing @BenMoore be so hyped about soul calibur 6 I figured it was finally time to reveal myself.
Longtime member/competitor in the FGC with soul calibur and tekken being my main games. I'd love to offer my tutelage to Ben and any other interested parties when soul calibur 6 drops in October. Please feel free to drop me a line.
I look forward to being a part of this incredible community and getting to know everyone better.
EDIT: something I forgot to mention as a random tidbit about myself. I had my 15 minutes of gamer fame back in 2004 when I was selected as Mr sexiest gamer by gamer.tv. Got to be on xplay and even got a blurb in EGM. Ashley Jenkins aka jinx was the female winner from this contest. I was not as social media savvy back then and squandered my chance to parlay that contest into something more like she did. Great memories regardless.

@kab Hey, hey, welcome. I'm relatively new here too despite being like you and knowing these guys all the way back to the GT days.
It's convenient you mentioned about offering tutelage for fighting games since I'd say I'm currently on the look-out to try and seriously start getting into fighting games, but I've got a LOOOONG way to go given how terrible I am at them. Would love to get a coach/playpal since no one in my friends group is really into the genre so I don't get to have anyone to talk/play about them.

@smoothrunes absolutely man. Fighting games are a pretty steep learning curve and you have to be ok with losing a lot before you get better. Nowadays it's so easy to record video to go back and watch your matches and help understand why certain things worked out the way they did. I'll definitely hit you up when SC6 drops.

I am a new forum member and I can't wait to discuss trending games with everyone! Some of you may have seen me here and there on the Easy Allies Twitch channel. I will try to be on here every couple days to get some topics going. Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Nice. Good to see you here.

greetings to everyone :)
Longtime viewer and easy allies patreon living in germany.
I finally decided to join the forum and become a bit more active here.
As self diagnosed screenshot junkie (see my steam gallery with nearly 5.000 screenshots for example), I tend to always make new screenshots while playing and also often add my screenshots to my posts. Taking screenshots (without staging them to much or altering them with postediting) is a way for me to document my real gaming experience while playing. I often browse my old screenshots as a photo album, like a trip down memory lane. So i hope you don't mind some screenshots in my posts...
For example something like this screenshot from ... can you guess the game?
Hmm... seems a little high-fidelity to be Afrika, and it doesn't exactly fit Far Cry 4. So I'm a bit stumped so far. Welcome aboard.

@bloodworth thx... and nope, it is not Far Cry or Africa (loved this game back in the day) ...
instead it is:
"Assassin's Creed Origins"
@guthwulf ahh... of course. I was getting close with Ubisoft at least.

Hi everyone! Been watching since the GT days, but didn't really get hooked until about a year into Easy Allies. I watch a lot of different gaming content online but EZA is the only place I find myself coming back to daily. If there isn't something new to watch, I will peruse the YouTube backlog and dive into some things that I missed along the way. This is the first time I have taken the initiative to join a forum of any kind really, and I can't imagine a better community to get involved with.
Anyway I have a lot to say but instead I will keep it brief. Just wanted to say hello to everyone, and that I am excited to finally take a small part in the EZA community. L&R!

Hello, this is my first time posting in the forums. I do not typically join forums, but I don't really have many people to talk to about my passion for videogames and I would like to change that! I hope I can be a thoughtful and fun contributor to the discussions.
I've been watching Easy Allies for a while now and I really enjoy their content.

Been a long time since I participated in anything like a forum, but I've gotta get in for the Easy Allies.
Last year I downloaded a few of the podcast episodes to listen while driving to a campsite and have been hooked ever since.
I'm an avid gamer that mainly focuses on engaging single player titles, but I enjoy some multiplayer now and then.
Some of my favorite games are games by Hidetaka Miyazaki (Soulsborne/Sekiro), Metroid games, Metal Gear series, and Resident Evil series. Looking forward to getting to know many of you.

Long time Patron/Ally, but never really gotten involved in the forum side of things before - but really want to become more active, so here I am!
I've been watching the allies since 2013 on the GT 360 app, and have been a patron since day 1. Went to E3 last year, and it was perhaps the best experience of my life - so I'm going back this year. I'm a Freshmen college student in Ohio, so Cali's a whole world away.
As far as games though, Im a mostly single player person - favorites of all times would be Persona 5, Pokemon 9Platinum? Soul Silver? Black 2?) The KOTOR Games, and Dragon Age.
I enjoy interacting with you all on here!

I've been a patreon and lurking in the communities for years. This E3, I realized I don't have any friends that play games to share the hype! I'd love to meet some new people that I can talk about games with.
I'm a rising senior in college (Computer Science) and mostly play RPGs. My favorite games range from JRPGs like Dragon Quest and Persona to sims like Rollercoaster Tycoon. I particularly love a game with a great story.
I'm looking forward to making some new friends!
