Out of curiosity, what does the forum run on? Or is it just straight-up custom. Whatever it is, it's baller.

I'll echo what everyone else has said: this is one of the best-designed forums I've ever used. And I've used a lot of forums.

It's NodeBB. The main site is also written in Node, so it made sense. I like it a lot. It takes a lot from Discourse. I just made the siftd.net forums, so it was nice to just click install and have a forum and not spend months on it :)

Will there be ads on this site to further support EZA at some point? While i usually don't like ads, i'm more than okay with them for this site.
Also as i'm writing this i just noticed that you can't see what you type on a long post, the textfield/curser is off-screen. My first bug report ;-)
