Cave StoryI don't think it's a bad game but Galaxy left me feeling like it was an 8/10. Technically it's brilliant, but a lot of the time it feels really linear in its mission structure and level progression. A lot of the new 3D Mario games have been a bit more filtered and linear and I feel like it just doesn't fit quite right to me.

Okay, before you all toss me out of here for my kill, hear me out. Shovel Knight was great when it came out and hearing Yacht Club games get announced on stage recently got me pumped for a new franchise, a sequel, anything but more DLC. Nearly 3 years after initial release, we're getting more DLC instead of something new and fresh. There's also a lot of segments that factor more as slow and tedious as opposed to loads of fun. Sorry Shovel Knight, you won't be able to save Shield Knight this time.
