Hey there was a rumor that the western release had all swords replaced with wooden sticks, can someone confirm or debunk that please?
Oh yeah, can confirm. Burning Attack, all sword skills, all wooden swords.
-
@ZyloWolfBane thankfully it has zero impact on the games fun the game. stuffs totally expanded universe anyways you team up with people that you'd despise in the show so it doesn't bother me all that much didn't even really notice it tbh
-
I'm dying to play this but its not out in Europe til Feb... :-:
-
I'm still waiting for a fully fledged 3D action adventure / rpg similar to the Legacy of Goku games.
One can dream, right?

Not to be the grammar police or anything but...
deplore - to disapprove of; censure.
Implore is the positive usage. I came here expecting some good ol' fashioned hate on DragonBall Fusions and instead I'm getting love and respect? I feel misled.

@ZyloWolfBane @Ikataishou
Thanks. Well unless it's an US exclusive bullshit, I will not buy the game now, seeing that the game has the same age rating as FFXV or most JRPGs really, this was completely unecessary, I will boycott.
-
@SabotageTheTruth np thanks for the corrections I have updated it games awesome tho!
-
@Musou-Tensei thats a real shame it is lame that theres censorship but thanks to media black out I really had no idea and can confirm you'll hardly notice only future trunks really rocks the sword and its not there everything else is on point especially the music looking at you xenoverse 2
-
@Spidarro really hate that the EU gets games so much later it needs to stop #samereleasedateeverywhere
-
@JoleeHonso It's already decided, I don't buy games that are unreasonably censored, didn't buy Criminal Girls 2, didn't buy Tokyo Mirage Sessions, will not buy this one, at least not 1st hand.
-
@JoleeHonso Do you think someone with only passing knowledge of the show would still enjoy the game?
-
@Doctor-Professor honestly the story in this isn't the strong part of the game its the gameplay. I'm not a diehard dbz fan I did grow up with the show on toonami but its not like I've played every dbz game or anything. prob my last dbz game was budokai 3 on ps2. if you really like turn based combat with pokemon style recruiting people "catching em all" then you'll get behind it. check out more gameplay on it and see if it draws you in. graphics are also top notch for a 3ds you can fly around and theres quite a few zones games a decent size and theres atleast 50 hours of game there not including end game which I heard is meaty.
-
@JoleeHonso for real, seems like 90% of the time with staggered releases we get shafted

Some of the humor of the fusions might be lost on you if you didn't know who some of the characters are, but otherwise I don't think it'd be a problem.
The game really isn't big in the story department, you really should watch DBZ though, everyone should.

This doesn't come out until February for us in Europe, but I'm seriously excited about this. I'm liking the more jolly approach to the universe and the fact that it's trying to carve out it's own little niche. Add in the fact that you've got all the crazy combinations, exploration and RPG battle elements and it's looking like great fun! I'm actually more interested in this than Xenoverse 2!

@Churchy most dbz fans agree that fusions is the superior game. the music for one is way better no terrible carnival music at that beginning hub area drove people mad. I just got to the endgame and it was a amazing time all the way through theres still so many people I need to recruit and side quests to finish.
