Eurobeat, Eurobeat, and more Eurobeat:

I need a Eurobeat 101. I love it but don't know what to look for. My inner Italian is fist pumping right now.

There were incredible mixes on YouTube by JD Neon, but avex (publisher of many Eurobeat tracks) cracked down on them.
As seen in the thumbnails above, many of the best Eurobeat tracks were featured in the awesome street racing anime Initial D - avex themselves have recently uploaded many tracks from the show:
Additional tracks:
There's one other epic track (Ace - Adrenaline) that was used to kick off Initial D's final race. If you can (I'm not sure if the fifth season has been officially subbed), I'd recommend hearing it there first.
But that's getting way ahead. First, check out my personal favorite race, the finale of the second season:

Jermaine Jackson - Dynamite
I like this duo with his brother.
Actually, I like most of the album. Almost over.

I have been hooked on Holy Ghost!'s Dynamics recently. It's a super solid and groovy synthpop record with a good sense of style.

Yessss you're the man! Time to dive in.

Editor and a director at my work were working on a new show they’re making and I hear some music that I’m super familiar with but can’t put a finger on how I know it.
When the director leaves for the day, I pop in to ask my friend the editor to play that song they used in the edit again. I’m listening and I’m like... I know this... then I’m running a list through my head: Wipeout? FIFA? Hmmm... then I figure it out. It was from F1 2000 on PS1.
That was nostalgic to say the least. Really like this song:

I missed out on Josh Homme's Desert Sessions Vols 11 & 12 last year, so I got around to it some time ago and really enjoyed it. It sounds like QOTSA's Era Vulgaris, with the crunchy sounding production and experimental tendencies. It's certainly sounds more exciting than QOTSA's last record.
I also listened to Vulfpeck's Hill Climber and I'm very impressed with this. The catchy old school grooves, snappy production, and upbeat energy makes the whole thing a really fun listen.

I have been waiting for this for YEARS. The single's pretty decent. There's also other new songs they played at Bernie Sanders's rally but the sound in the livestream is shit.
-
@bam541 Yea, I kept waiting for it to break and it just never did - could have been better, but promising.
As an aside, I was reading a post of your's elsewhere and your signature always reminds me I need to re-listen to Automatic Stop. This time I just so happened to follow through on that venture only a day after their new single, what luck! Sadly and without fail, I then proceed to listen to the album and realize I think I like at least five other songs more than your favorite.
-
@miserableperson I actually like the single way more now, I guess I was expecting a more fun pop rock song again from them for some reason and was subconsciously disappointed when I heard it first.
That happens a lot to me too, lol. I love 95% of This It and Room and Fire. The rest of their discography are not too shabby as well.

Not sure if anyone here is into hardcore, but I came across this recently and I'm digging the hell out of it

I've been repeating this song over and over for the last 2 weeks. The album's decent overall, this is easily the best song in it.
Youtube VideoAnyway, the new Tame Impala record is out, listening to it soon.
