@TokyoSlim im saying here on this site, they werent.
That is patently untrue. I dare you to hand me a prove it ticket. I can repost a whole bunch of people.
-
@TokyoSlim its the way it seems to me, you would never have discussions saying guys wait it
id like you to prove it with just as lengthy of a discussion
-
@Bigdude1 Yes, you can have opinions before release. But they are not informed opinions. There is a difference between those two.
-
@Bigdude1 The game was in development for ten years, announced dead, announced alive, and delayed. You honestly think nobody doubted it? The difference between those threads and this one was that nobody was seriously trying to convince me that it was going to be amazing.
The last guardian was a 10 year long joke.
-
@jipostus it absolutely can be informed. games have been demoed, you can use your eyes and see what they are going for, it's like surveying a game using smaller samples. given its not a full picture, but to say it's ignorant with no empirical evidence is just insulting
-
@TokyoSlim i don't really expect you to look it up, i was more insulted that i bought a ps3 to play the waiting game for those 2 games that never came out for the system i bought them for ( not solely for them but still)
i'm just saying it feels disproportionate.
-
@Bigdude1 You have repeatedly stated that BOTW is 100% going to be a great game with no possible criticisms. That's an opinion, but it's not one that can be based on any current evidence.
-
@TokyoSlim im not saying perfect, i said its going to be great. im looking at it, reading the information about it, and its features appeal to me.

Remember No Mans Sky, MGS5, Watch Dogs 1, Spore, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mass Effect 3, SimCity, FF14 (initial release), Mighty Nr 9, Duke Nukem Forever, Destiny and much much more?
As I said before, scepticism is healthy and there are no guarantees.
Not saying people can't be super excited, but getting annoyed that other people are sceptical (and even going so far as to think this is them shitting on said game) is on the other hand not healthy.

You literally stated that the game is factually going to be great because there is no possible reason it could be bad. If it's not perfect, that means there are things that are not perfect. Which means that there are reasons it could be bad.
@Bigdude1 said in Nintendo Switch January 12th Event:
@TokyoSlim you can cause it will though, at this point you have prove its gonna be bad
@Bigdude1 said in Nintendo Switch January 12th Event:
@TokyoSlim reread i sad assume that it might be bad, that there is even a possibility
-
I think this thread is going a bit overboard so I think I'll sit this one out until things calm down. There's barely even any discussion going on.
-
@suplextrain Not about the Switch anyways. Super off topic. :)
-
Back to the switch, I do like the red and blue colors.
-
@suplextrain there was a lot of empirical evidence for those, especially no mans sky
-
@TokyoSlim it would be better if they were one or the other, not both different colors
-
@Bigdude1 I like the differentiation for 2 player scenarios.
-
@TokyoSlim it is good to see so many couch coop games on switch, it seems to be getting rarer.
i guess local multiplayer in general
-
Couch co-op seems to be something that only some indies and Nintendo care about anymore. Which is somewhat sad. I do love me some couch co-op every once in a while.
I have plenty of good memories of playing through fps campaigns through with my brother, stuff like Time Splitters, Resistance 1 and 3... Also, Secret of Mana was amazing to play through with friend back in the day...

@jipostus halo used to be sacred too all the way up to master chief collection, then halo 5 had to fuck it all up
there is almost no reason to get multiple controllers for most consoles anymore because a 2 player game is so rare let alone 4 player
