Games That Don't Exist (but Really Should)

I would love to see a RPG that is like ADOM with it's depth, customization and randomly generated dungeons etc, but with graphics like Skyrim or better. Heck, someone could just take the ADOM's Infinite dungeon, have no solid goal other than get highest possible score.

A console/PC classsic turn-based Pokemon RPG of AAA production values. It would be semi-openworld with rich exploration and you can travel via sea and air.

@Mechanoid said in Games That Don't Exist (but Really Should):
@Ellis Have you tried Tatsunoko vs Capcom? It's literally SF vs Anime  (a lot of the anime characters are pretty old school though)
I will have a look but I'm pretty new to anime so I won't know them. Dragon ball z is the only old anime I know

First I was gonna say a huge space sim, but then I realised that both elite dangerous and star citizen is out there.
I would (as many others) wish for a pokémon MMO game. Catch, train, take care of your pokemon. Mix it up with the old PS1 monster ranch game. Train your pokemon through various tasks (quests) rather than just battles against other pokemon. Endgame obviously leagues, team battles and world bosses. Let you customise your character and pokeballs. Maybe even level up your trainer with certain skills etc. Tis could be big.

A proper Vampire the Masquerade sequel.
With Bloodlines being one of the greatest games ever even with Activision and Steam sabotaging its release, I shiver to think of what could be done with modern assets and enough time for Troika to properly finish the game.

A Spider-Man game developed by a fantastic developer with a large budget.
Wait...
-
@Light Yes, the Spiderman game teased at Sony E3 conference looks promising, but I would still hold my horses... Even if it's Imsoniac...
-
Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter
A good Doctor Who game that involved all of the Doctors.
-
Paperboy 3. Nuff said.

Groundhog Day: The Video Game
Doesn't even have to follow the plot of the movie!
All you need is to dump the player in a small but super detailed open world sandbox, and let them go nuts however they'd like until the next day! It'd be super fun to learn a random NPC's daily routine, and then dedicate and entire day to just mess with them.

A sodding Pokemon home console RPG. It's about time. I'd love if it would utilise a Dark Souls style system where you could play online or offline and have other trainers come into your game and challenge you. And I'd love it if you saw all Pokemon in the wild and engage with them directly , making a seamless transition into battle.
A man can dream.

@ThatMartime Directed by Peter Molyneux. :p

@Minamik
"I'll never forget you, Milo."

A Rock Band style game but with classical music
-
A not bad Superman Game.
-
@unholyrevenger72 I would love rocksteady to continue its Arkham universe with either a Superman or Justice League game.
-
@Vexchaneu I now want to play with a violin controller

I'd also like a good, single-player, open-world(s) Firefly game. Kind of a mashup between Red Dead and something like Elite, only space flight limited to the one system and stealth emphasized far above combat. I'd probably rather play as my own ship and crew rather than Serenity, just because it would open more options. Ally with the Alliance or the Browncoats, get jobs (legitimate and otherwise) from assorted seedy characters, pick up passengers, and just keep flying.

A game like DayZ but with a AAA-game budget. I mean, seriously, there are tons of DayZ-esque games but they're all low-budget early access trash.
