You WILL be confused, but damn it's so good.

  • @Mechanoid More of a Blame! fan myself but Sidonia still has really interesting art to look at

  • For fans of old school mecha, get in on Getter Robo! The story of a powerful robot that can split into 3 and change form on the fly to combat the dinosaur empire who have been waiting to return for thousands of years. Big influence on Gurren Lagann if anyone's a fan of that. Fair warning the story will never be concluded due to the authors unfortunate death and ends on one of the most NASTY cliffhangers I've ever seen. You can read all parts of the series over at if you're interested. The series order is
    -Getter Robo
    -Getter Robo G
    -Getter Robo Go
    -Shin Getter Robo
    -Getter Robo Arc

  • @Tommynaut21 Yeah the anime adaptation is a joke.

  • Latest Berserk chapter was really interesting. Sorcerers and witches are always cool

  • Here's a weird (and often hilarious) 4-panel comedy series that pokes fun at the preconceptions about shoujo manga.

    Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun

  • I have a fairly basic reading list with One Piece, Bleach, and Fairy Tail. Probably the only offbeat one is Yamada-Kun to 7 Nin No Majo (Yamada and the 7 Witches)

I think my favorite manga has to be Liar Game though. Aizen, Death Note, and Code Geass levels of "all according to Keikaku" levels of trickery and plans coming together.

  • For ongoing stuff i read Tomo-chan wa onanoko! which is a daily one page comedy and some very light romance manga about a tomboy in love with her childhood friend , yeah i know that sounds cliche but trust once you read it you will change your mind!
Also Kingdom which is an epic historical manga set in China it's biweekly , and lastly ReLIFE which is about a 27-year-old, out-of-work man who has failed at each and every job interview he has had after quitting his last company where he only lasted three months. His life changes after he meets man from a place called ReLife Research Institute, who offers him a drug that can change his appearance to that of a 17-years-old again. Taking the drug, he becomes a subject in a one-year experiment in which he begins his life as a high school student again.
Other than those three and the occasionally new chapter of Vinland Saga and Zetman i just re-read old finished manga.

  • @Waleed_WSF88 Thumbs up for Tomo-chan and ReLIFE (anime incoming; please let it be good)

  • Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer

Strange title, strange premise, but a great read that could hit really close to home for some. It's a completed series to boot!

  • Kyou Kara Ore Wa! (Today, It's My Turn!!)

A great old school comedy (began in 1988!) synopsis from (
"Two boys, Mitsuhashi Takashi and Itou Shinji, meet each other at a salon. It turns out both boys are transferring to a new school and decide to take the opportunity to reinvent themselves. No longer will they be run of the mill high school students, they will become the biggest delinquents Japan has ever seen! ".
The series has been fully translated a few years ago and it's one of my favorites the main character Mistuhashi is a unique protagonist who will stoop to any low to win a fight or get what he wants.
