I love music, but I have a really hard time finding new songs/artists. I saw threads like this on other forums and I think it's a great way to find new music.
You probably know how it works. I post a song the next poster gives it a .../10 maybe says some words if he/she wants to and posts the next song.

@Dragonhunter Really love the song. The only problem I have is that it may be too long, but it's perfect to put into packground while doing something or just chilling. Score: 8.8/10

@Nillend Not typically my style of music, but I love the laidback chill beat. 7/10. Keeping the chill theme. (Great thread btw,) Lakey Inspired - Searching For..

@Gloop Nice ambiance, makes me think of adventures on an open ocean.
Five Easy stars.

@Hoken Always a sucker for slow violins. The background strings build to a haunting crescendo. Wasn't feeling the bass lines too much but maybe just not in the right mood or state of mind. 4/5 stars, would listen again.

@Dirokia I love it 9/10
-
@Dragonhunter Great tune, I'd love listening to this while driving to the seaside on an empty highway. 9.5/10.
-
@crimilde I think I have a new favourite song. I've also "lost" 9€ on their Album. It was weird at the beginning but I just couldn't stop staring at that video. Thank you 10/10
-
@Dragonhunter Slick production but most of this style EDM usually ends up sounding pretty same-y to me. 3.5/5
Let's get some vidya (covers) in here.

@Dirokia Wow this is great! So relaxing. 10/10.
@Dragonhunter I'm so glad you liked them, I love Glass Animals to bits. I'm not sure why they're not more popular, their music is fantastic.
Throwing in some classic animu next:

@crimilde 9/10 It's not what I usually listen to, but I've got a soft spot for songs that really kick in to high-gear part way through. Plus I love Cowboy Bebop in general.
Figured I'd through some Kpop in the mix.

@michemagius Such nice vibes. I really enjoyed it. 9.0/10

@Nillend Start was a bit drab, got excited when it picked up. Little disappointed it didn't go anywhere from there but a fine listen. 3/5
How about a little of my favorite rocker dorks?

@Dirokia If there's one thing I think Japanese music does better than American music, it's energetically capturing the sense of soaring. And this song is doing an awesome job of it, while being very, very rooted in the sound of rock and roll. I love it; there's so much range in the song--in pitch, loudness, and emotion. :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: , put it on my Japanese Music Favorites playlist.

@Inflorescence I love music like this because the stripped-down nature of the instrumentation lets the vocals shine through. The folk influences in the lyricism and vocal delivery really communicates strong, raw emotion. It's unrefined, sure, but that's part of the appeal. It's like a catharsis. That said, sometimes the voice gets a little more like a growl and the rhythm of the words (which really holds the whole song together musically) gets lost a little. 4.5/5.

@alexwhiteplays Track has relaxing feeling, yet it's powerful, if that makes sense... It's not my kind of music, but I definitely can appreciate this kind of music every once in a while. 8/10
Chris Huelsbeck - The Final Fight (Machinae Supremacy Version)
-
@jipostus Nice track, never heard of that game before but I feel like I should play some Beat 'em Ups now 8/10
This one has a really slow start you can skip to 1:40 if you want to The Monarch's Pyramid (1:40)

@Dragonhunter Utopia was such an amazing mindfuck of a show, it's a shame HBO pulled to the plug on the American version that was being put together by David Fincher. The music worked so well with it too, 4/5.
-
@Chie-Best-Waifu It's a bigger shame Channel 4 canceled it. But yes an American version would have at least been some kind of solace and maybe would have given us the rest of the story.
Nice song, even though it's mostly a loop it's pretty relaxing and nice to listen to. I'm going to listen to some more songs of him the next few days.

@Dragonhunter I really like the instrumental a lot! I'm not a huge fan of that vocal style personally but I still enjoyed the song overall. 7/10.
