@thenerdtheword At least Final Fantasy XV will appear, unless people here forgot to add it to their lists. But I'm not sure if many other RPG's will appear.

I remember liking the demo for World of FF, and I really liked the look of the characters, but I'll doubt I'll actually get to it at any point.
@jipostus FF XV is the one game I've yet to really dig into (I'm still in Chapter 1), so I didn't put it on mine. Though from the tiniest of slices, I hope it received a lot of nominations.

@Brannox If I Am Setsuna made the list with a #3, two #4, and a #5 votes (a score of 8) then I would imagine Final Fantasy XV will be on the list somewhere.
@Tragosaurus Of that, I have no doubt. My point was I didn't forget about it, and if I had the time last month to dedicate to it in time for nominations, it probably would have mine. But alas, the extra how ever many points it could have potentially gotten from are non-existant, so its placement could (potentially) have been moved by a slot or two if I had gotten to play it at launch.

I feel like I am in the very small minority of people who was not bothered by Tama's speech quirk. I still didn't end up playing World of Final Fantasy though... just can't justify all the time most RPGs take at this point.

@logic__error I was in the same boat. SO much other stuff, but I really enjoyed the demo. It was that or Dragon Quest Builders. I made my choice...

#23. Let It Die - 10 points

#4: 1 (jipostus)
Release date: December 3 [US/EU]
Developer: Grasshopper Manufacture
Publisher: GungHo Online Entertainment
Genre: Hack and slash
Platform(s): PlayStation 4
@Axel Umm... Are you certain the points are right, as World of Final Fantasy received just as many points as Let it Die, even though Let it Die has higher votes all around?

It was explained in the previous thread that in the case of ties whichever game had a higher place on someones list would be raked higher. In this case World of Final Fantasy was number 3 at best while Let it Die was number 2.
Let it Die came out a bit too late and its style is not my taste, but with all of the late year hype, I'm not surprised its on the list. I am surprised about it's placement. I thought it would be higher.

@Brandon_Reister Oh, I missed on one vote on the World of Final Fantasy... All is good then :P
Anyhow, I think Let it Die is phenomenal in many ways. The fact that it's free, and you can play it entirely free, unless you care so much about some of your characters, and don't have any of the items that allows you to bring them back, which you do get free (not many understandably). The combat is great, and the humor just clicks with me. There are better games, yes, but I praise it for doing many things right, and hopefully this game does well, and other games take it as a example how to make free to play games.

I've been meaning to give Let It Die a go since it shadow dropped. I just need to find the time >.<

I didn't expect Let It Die to slip in but I'm glad something that late and left field made it in. I should give it a shot!
@Churchy I would go as far as to say that everyone with PS4 should at least try it out, as it's free.

I enjoyed Let It Die but i simply got bored of repeating the same floors over and over again after a while, i'm not someone who enjoy backtracking and i played the first 10 floors soooo many times to unlock alternate routes or to grind materials. I'm getting bored of the dungeon crawling roguelike indie games in general but i still do think that Let It Die is a good game.
As someone who grew up with Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Silver on the Gameboy and SNES RPG's, World of Final Fantasy fits my taste perfectly especially with the old school vibes, musics and characters. Square tried "Final Fantasy Pokémon" with Final Fantasy XIII-2 and i don't feel like it really worked for that game but it did with WoFF which is why it made 5th place on my list.
