I also think they dropped the ball with splitting this into 3 games with different campaigns - how great would it have been to finish the first campaign and discover there's an entirely new one waiting for you?

Cave StoryIt's not as great people think it is. Yes, it has solid gameplay, but the overall feel is off. I wish they went for more Super Mario 64 or Mario Sunshine route with this, but no. That said, Super Mario Odyssey HYPE.

Cave StoryI was so hooked on this game for the first half of the game. I thought it was everything Final Fantasy 5 should have been. Then I went into the pillar of light and realized what the game was about to make me do. I tried to keep going but the magic was lost. This game hurt me. I want to hurt it back.

Cave StoryI put like 150 hours into this when it first dropped but man after like two months it stops being a fun diversion from real life and just becomes an out-and-out chore that you gotta do every day or so.
That and I'm a little bitter that when I tried to go back to it a few months later the first thing I saw was my favorite villager moving out.
