Same for me, I still don't have the one I ordered in September, but I managed to get one from another store in the meantime. Some stores really messed up their pre-orders...

I picked up a Series S to tie me over until an X or Ps5 becomes available in my country. I have to say the load times & 60fps is worth the 250 quid. Crazy good price if you can't find one of the other systems or are on a budget. Control is a different game running at 60. I never thought I'd say that as I didnt think it would make that much of a difference. Its really does.

I just bought a prebuilt gaming PC, I know "why didn't you just build one" Because it kind of terrifies me, because it's just easier to buy prebuilt and change it as I need.
Other then that bought the No More Heroes Collectors edition from Limited Run Games, and I grabbed a Switch Lite from a closing gamestop for $60

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour...but we sold our place the day it arrived so I can’t be bothered to pull out the Gamecube before moving. Will be a nice house warming gift I guess.

As time goes on and you start replacing parts on your pre-built, you'll start gaining confidence and see how everything works together anyways. From my experience with PCs, you'll have to look under the hood a few times as time goes on just to figure out what might be screwing up or to add an SSD and what have you.

That's been my thinking, and honestly the one I bought from a family friend is relatively nice, it's been running really hot. Like an hour or two of just browsing online turns my room into a sauna.

Happens to the best of us. Since working from home in this small 8x7 home office, if the door is closed, I start to sweat. PC power usage is no joke. Definitely a fine line between normal and a borderline housefire when it comes to old computers.

I will just continue to play my owned games on other Sony platforms most probably. I'm pretty sure there will always be a way to reach them.
