Name the Origin of the Quote [GAME]
-
Hello all. I thought this would be a fun forum game, and would tie nicely in with Ian and Michael's film podcast. I'll try and post a new quote, either from film, TV or gaming, every few days, but everyone is more than welcome to post their own.
Have fun!
"I'll shove that bat up your ass and turn you into a Popsicle" [Difficulty - 3/10]
Can you name the origin?

"You know nothing. In fact, you know less than nothing. If you knew that you knew nothing, then that would be something, but you don't."
-

You should see it!

@DarthAmmii It's a cult film from 1991, had some pretty big names and holds up well. The recent remake, not so much.
This round, I know the actor, but I can't remember which movie. I've got a pretty good one after someone solves it though. The actor's name is in the spoiler for people who want a hint:
Jim Carrey

@TokyoSlim You sure are! I've got a good one for this round, it's a bit on the hard side.
"The television screen is the retina of the mind's eye. Therefore, the television screen is a part of the physical structure of the brain. Therefore, whatever appears on the television screen emerges as raw experience for those who watch it. Therefore, television is reality, and reality is less than television."
Hint in the spoiler:
You're looking for a 1980s cult classic from a notable director.

"I'm kicking my ass, do ya mind?!"
-
Videodrome?
-
Liar Liar
-
lol
You guys don't want to play movie trivia with me.
-
@TokyoSlim You got it! One of my favorites. You're on a roll, how about you give a new quote prompt? This is a lot of fun.
-
New game name - BRING DOWN TokyoSlim. Lol

@DarthAmmii For real, raid boss status over here. It's cool, though. I love getting to see people's knowledge of stuff they enjoy, and it's obvious that @TokyoSlim is a huge movie buff.
