MLB The Show 17 (PS4)

I know most of you probably don't play (or care about) sports games, and I don't as much as I used to, but a few different things caused me to go ahead and pull the trigger on MLB The Show this year. I know Huber is getting it and streaming it in a few days, anyone else picking it up? I know there's a few other SportsAllies out there... would be jolly to play multi.

I actually love sports games, and I'm probably going to pick up MLB. I'm not really that into baseball, but I'm hoping that if I spend time playing The Show, it might get me more into baseball so I can follow the season better this year. The hard part is that I'm not sure how much time I'll have to play it since Persona 5 comes out next week.

I'm definitely getting it. MLB The Show is the only yearly sports game I get anymore. I'm really hopeful for the new Road to the Show mode being more intimate.

My little brother is picking his copy up tonight. I'll probably play with him at least a little bit before heading out again next week.

Been years since I played The Show. But I've also stopped watching MLB.
Last one I got was 09 with Dustin on the cover. Loved it along with 07. Hope the newer games improved.

How's the retro mode in this? I was thinking of picking it up but then my car died so.... priorities have changed.

After tearing up the minor leagues with 2 perfect games in his first 13 starts, Tokyo "Professor Dirtbag" Slim is now tearing up the majors. So far it seems that nobody is capable of deciphering his combination of a 100mph four seam fastball, a high 80's split finger, and a low 80's circle change. We may be looking at a perennial all star, first ballot HOF type of player.
