Selective Creation: Generate the Best Genesis List!
-
We have finally come to the LAST console round. It's time to build the best Sega Genesis list there is.
As always - Quick rule refresher for potential new players:
Here's the breakdown: You've been given the power to green-light 25 games, but here's the catch: these 25 games will be the ONLY games on the Genesis EVER. What should be the games that make the cut? By giving 25 select titles, you are essentially playing an inverse of Kill Your Babies.
You can only give one title until four people have added after you OR 12 hours have passed since the last overall addition, NOT NECESSARILY YOURS, so think really hard about which game should be on the list. It could be your favorite game, or if your favorite is already present, then you can add another you hold dear. Or if you don't like Nintendo, get to trolling if it makes you happy.
To keep some diversity, I'm instituting a franchise cap. So if two entries of a series get put on the list, a third CAN NOT be added.
Once you have given a game, please keep a running list going for the benefit of the next person that would like to play. Because I'm pitching the game, I will refrain from adding to the list unless absolutely necessary because it would be unfair for me to skew the list in my favor.
And so Allies, what are the definitive 25 Genesis games?
Have fun!

I need a judgement call, do 32X/CD games count as well or just the base console?
-
@DeweyDTruman Yes, because they are add-ons, so they count. So long as it is inherent to the Genesis, you're all good.

Truxton!

Sonic CDAn argument could be made for any of the Sonic games but this is a personal favorite. Rewards exploring while also letting you absolutely just blast through the stage with no cares in the world if that's your preference.

@fettouhi Woah, while that's a great list, that isn't how these threads work per se. Each person chooses ONE entry to be nominated for whatever that particular category is and can't add another until certain criteria is passed. Please read the OP at the top and ask questions if necessary.

I'm not seeing a lot of arguments for the additions. It makes the killing that much more fun if the game is someone's sweetheart. (Though I'm skipping this list personally.)

Lotus III need to add this, even if the Amiga version is the better game, it's still a great fun even on Genesis.
