Kill Your Babies!: Massacre the Multiplatform Titles!
-
We've covered practically every system and now it's time to kill of those that called several systems home: Let's massacre the multiplatform games!
As always, just in case there are new players, here are the rules:
Rule #1: When you make a kill, give your reason why you are killing. Just taking it out isn't all that inspiring. Whether you truly dislike it, you strike out of revenge, you feel that there are other important titles that should have made it, or you have legitimate critiques, explaining your kill is necessary to validate its death. Yes, even to those of you who kill because they're good (Because that makes sense =-D)
Rule #2: Please keep the updated list for the benefit of other players. Cross through your kill to identify what's been chosen.
Rule #3: You may kill another game after only four other people have made a kill OR if 12 hours have passed from the last overall kill (not necessarily your own). This should be plenty of time for others to get involved.
Rule #4: If you fail to give a reason, make a 2nd kill without allowing the time to pass/proper amount of players a turn, or if there is an unforeseen issue up for potential review, your kill may not be recognized. This rule is subjective to the situation and hopefully will not be implemented.
Rule #5: Per normal, we will have a straw poll for the final two. Please vote for the one you want to win, not lose.
Let me know if you have any questions. Your kills are your own, so be ruthless, uncompromising, and most importantly:
HAVE FUN!!!

The Wolf Among UsSide-scrollers are not my thing. I feel like I always need more freedom in these, basically that third dimension, I guess. And to be able to move freely both left and right when you want is a big thing for me in platformers. Also, the character design in these Rayman games rubs me the wrong way, especially when it comes to the enemies. They're just ugly, and not in a cute kind of way.

@SabotageTheTruth Fascinating. I prefer City over Asylum, but both are great games.
-
@Brannox I just remember that being a big debate at GT, between Asylum and City, which is better - so I like to bring up old feuds. I definitely like both (much more than Knight) but Asylum was just so fresh and new. Plus, those Scarecrow segments...
-
@SabotageTheTruth Scarecrow segments are awesome. I think I like the overall narrative and locale of City just a little more than Asylum, so that's why it gets the edge for me.

-
@Pedz People like "Soulsborne" games because of the combat, that makes your every move count (which is something that you either like or not) and if you die it's because you made a wrong move or didn't pay attention to your surroundings, and/or because how they present the world and story to you, which is different from many other games. They're definitely not perfect games, but they've definitely earned their place in gaming history as a series that took out the constant handholding of majority of games, and actually challenged gamers.

Angel Devoid: Face of the EnemyDon't like this game. Found it boring and pointless.
It's funny, no one would ever play a game if they relied on these lists as a means to choose games. Every game is bad!
