Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (NS)

Well I still loathe the rabbids with all my rotten heart, but even if they wouldn't be part of this I still wouldn't be interested in this game, this is really not for me, I was deadly bored when they showed gameplay on Treehouse.

Did they say anything about the team composition? I thought I heard you need at least one mario character and one rabbid.

my main concern with this is how in depth and tactical it will really end up being, so just for that I'm not completely in, but based on what they showed I'm more than happy to give it a fair chance.
My main concern is who the audience will be.
Tweens? Manchildren? Certainly not kids.
@OneCasual That's also what I heard, and the third member can be whoever you like.

@Axel Gotcha, thanks. Kinda bummed. Wanted an all mario team, but it should be fine.
Previews have appeared everywhere today, and they're all unanimous in their praise. Interesting to hear that the game also really gets challenging as you progress, that was the one thing I was afraid of.
I seriously can't wait for this game, maybe even more than Super Mario Odyssey.
Also, this trailer introducing a new boss looks absolutely glorious:

Free PvP mode added tomorrow. That's pretty sweet and unexpected! And it sounds like a fully developed mode, with tons of options and even new features.

In this preview they give quite some information:
- Two new playable characters: Donkey Kong and Crankey Rabbid.
- New moves, weapons and enemies.
- 4 new worlds!
- About 10 hours of gameplay.
That's a lot more than I expected, can't wait for this :)

@axel Oh wow. Yeah, I thought it was just going to be DK as an additional character, and that would be all. I actually put the game on hold so I’d be able to use him, but a bigger expansion sounds awesome!

DK looks so perfect in this. Love that he has his ground pounds as one of his attacks and he gets the ability to pick up allies, enemies, or even cover and move somewhere before chucking it at anything for damage. If he picks up cover that would produce an effect when destroyed normally, then it even produces that effect on an enemy you toss it at. Considering how much they nailed DK himself, Cranky Rabbid is kinda disappointing with his Crossbow Stick. He doesn't even pogo with it when launching off allies.
A lot more details in this video, especially about the new combat abilities.

I can't wait for this DLC to come out. It looks like they’ve taken the same care and attention to detail they put into the main game and applied to the DK setting and characters.
