Vanquish PC Release (25/05/17)

    LONDON – May 10th, 2017 – SEGA Europe Ltd. are thrilled to announce that PlatinumGames’ revolutionary sci-fi action shooter VANQUISH™ will launch for PC, on Steam, on Thursday 25th May, 2017 having undergone SEGA’s renowned best practice conversion treatment.
    Pre-order VANQUISH on Steam and other SEGA approved retailers to receive the Digital Deluxe Edition which includes a 5 track soundtrack sampler, character and enemy avatars, art book and exclusive wallpapers. Fans who already own Bayonetta™ on Steam or purchase it before 25th May, 2017 will automatically get 25% off when they pre-order VANQUISH. However, you only have until the 25th May, 2017 to secure the Digital Deluxe Edition via pre-ordering before it reverts to the Standard Edition.
    Directed by Shinji Mikami, the creator of the Resident Evil™ series, VANQUISH is a sci-fi shooter of epic proportion. Take control of DARPA operative Sam Gideon, who has been assigned a mission to battle legions of future-tech enemies using a vast arsenal of weapons. VANQUISH boasts fluid and frenetic combat, spectacular melee moves, and intense speed, wrapped in a gripping story.
    VANQUISH is the latest best practice conversion from SEGA, and features a host of PC optimised options, including an unlocked framerate, 4k resolution support, extensive graphics options and full keyboard and mouse support.

    VANQUISH will run at 60 FPS, but also includes unlocked framerates, so if you have the
    hardware, you can crank it to 144 FPS.

    ●What is the maximum resolution?
    VANQUISH has enhanced PC graphics options with unlocked resolutions up to 4K,
    anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, SSAO lighting, scalable texture and shadow quality, and

    ●Does Vanquish support keyboard and mouse controls?
    Yes, VANQUISH will support keyboard and mouse controls.

    ●What languages is Vanquish PC available in?
    VANQUISH is available with voice overs in the following languages – English, French,
    German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. Players can choose any combination of languages
    and subtitles from the start menu.
    ●Is it exclusively available on Steam?
    It is available on steam, which can be purchased through your preferred online retailer.
    There is full Steam support with Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud Save, Trading Cards,
    Leader Boards, and Big Picture Mode.

    I hate cover based shooters and it looks like fast gears of war. but i hope it will be something i enjoy.

    You should only use cover in Vanquish out of desperation. The rest of the time will be spend sliding around on your MOTHER FUCKING ROCKET KNEES.

    Oh man I'm excited. Vanquish is Platinum at the top of their game.

    This is kinda cool! we can hope that people pick this up and it will trigger them into making a Vanquish 2!
    I love the game on PS3 and Im only missing 1 impossible trophy before platinum. I played through it multiple times on all difficulties. The story is fairly vague and straight forward, the gameplay is soo amazing and really kept me hooked. If I ever would do a cosplay, I would love to do Sam's suit :3
