The second of my unfamiliar games on this list! It has been shot out of the sky!

I've come to the conclusion that I don't like Castlevanias. Like any of them. Kinda hard <--> become boring, plus the settings are not my thing.

One of the ever growing list of games that I want to play but that I'll never be able to do so, and the last JRPG I have to worry about.

  • @Churchy you should familiarize yourself with it. Imo, best rts game of all time.

This game is not in any way the best shooter. It hasn't even aged well.

  • Keep that Castlevania dead, please.

  • Updated list

    MediEvil (Sony)

Every game I've played on this list is a masterpiece. The few I haven't also look like masterpieces. Except MediEvil. It looks cool and super fun, but it just can't hang with these giants going off what I know about it.

  • Okami (Action-Adventure, PS2)
    Beyond Good & Evil (Ubisoft)
    DOOM (1993) (TIME Top 50, 90s)
    Super Mario 64 (G4 Top 100)
Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (DS)

    Metroid Prime (Metacritic, Nintendo)
    Shenmue (Your Favorites)
    TimeSplitters: Future Perfect (EA)
    Mega Man II (80s)
    Streets of Rage 2 (Genesis)

As great as it is, it has won enough. other games deserve to have their chance in the spotlight.

  • Okami (Action-Adventure, PS2)
    Beyond Good & Evil (Ubisoft)
    Super Mario 64 (G4 Top 100)
Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (DS)
    Killer 7 (Gamecube)
    System Shock 2 (PC)
    Metroid Prime (Metacritic, Nintendo)
    Shenmue (Your Favorites)
    TimeSplitters: Future Perfect (EA)
    Mega Man II (80s)
    Streets of Rage 2 (Genesis)

Beat 'em Ups can be a lot of fun and Streets of Rage is the best around, but they've never managed to hold my attention for a very long time. The amazing music can't save you this time!

  • Okami (Action-Adventure, PS2)
    Beyond Good & Evil (Ubisoft)
    Super Mario 64 (G4 Top 100)
Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (DS)
    Killer 7 (Gamecube)
    System Shock 2 (PC)
    Metroid Prime (Metacritic, Nintendo)
    Shenmue (Your Favorites)
    TimeSplitters: Future Perfect (EA)
    Mega Man II (80s)

Probably the best game on the list, I also feel it is the least interesting game remaining on the list, so yeah

  • Okami (Action-Adventure, PS2)
    Beyond Good & Evil (Ubisoft)
    Super Mario 64 (G4 Top 100)
Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (DS)
    Killer 7 (Gamecube)
    System Shock 2 (PC)
    Metroid Prime (Metacritic, Nintendo)
    Shenmue (Your Favorites)
    TimeSplitters: Future Perfect (EA)
    Mega Man II (80s)

Great story, but there are better games overall on the list

  • Okami (Action-Adventure, PS2)
    Beyond Good & Evil (Ubisoft)
    Killer 7 (Gamecube)
    System Shock 2 (PC)
    Metroid Prime (Metacritic, Nintendo)
    Shenmue (Your Favorites)
    TimeSplitters: Future Perfect (EA)
    Mega Man II (80s)

I hate to just say "everything else is simply better" but I mean this list is insane. There's no losers here, just games that didn't win.

  • Okami (Action-Adventure, PS2)
    Beyond Good & Evil (Ubisoft)
    Killer 7 (Gamecube)
    System Shock 2 (PC)
    Metroid Prime (Metacritic, Nintendo)
    Shenmue (Your Favorites)
    Mega Man II (80s)

My least favorite left on this list.

  • Okami (Action-Adventure, PS2)
    Beyond Good & Evil (Ubisoft)
    Killer 7 (Gamecube)
    System Shock 2 (PC)
    Metroid Prime (Metacritic, Nintendo)
    Shenmue (Your Favorites)

Honestly, all of these games are worthy to be the winner, but to get there, few last cuts have to be made. I killed the one that was least painful to me to kill. Also, I think that this is my final kill on this list, and might be my last one overall.

  • @jipostus well yeah, not after you killed Katamari.

  • Okami (Action-Adventure, PS2)
    Beyond Good & Evil (Ubisoft)
    System Shock 2 (PC)
    Metroid Prime (Metacritic, Nintendo)
    Shenmue (Your Favorites)

It's just not my type of game

  • Okami (Action-Adventure, PS2)
    Beyond Good & Evil (Ubisoft)
    Metroid Prime (Metacritic, Nintendo)
    Shenmue (Your Favorites)

Just pick a genre already. What are you, Shenmue?

  • @Sazime said in Kill Your Babies!: Kill YOUR FINAL Babies!:

    What are you, Shenmue?

    Immersive sim

  • Okami (Action-Adventure, PS2)
    Beyond Good & Evil (Ubisoft)
    Metroid Prime (Metacritic, Nintendo)

Nice! I get to have two of my favourites in the final. No losers this time.

  • And we have our FINAL final two! Which should be the defining game of Kill Your Babies!? The game that, no matter what, stands above all slaughter and should be immortalized?

Is it the two time winner of best Action-Adventure and best PS2 game Okami?

or Ubisoft's premiere franchise in Beyond Good & Evil?

Click the link to cast your vote and come back one last time around 10:20 a.m. EST to find out the winner!
