it's free, multiplat, crossplay+save and it's on the Epic store. meaning every Fortnite player will open the epic launcher and see the game advertised front and center for the next couple of days at least.

Looks like the new CoD will have Cross Platform play, but it's still unclear what that will mean (ie. PC to each respective console, or everyone in a single pool). Ideally I think this would also have similar input based matchmaking similar to Fortnite, but that might be too optimistic.

The crossplay sort will be imput based, players will be pooled accordign to their imput device (MK, controller).

@lordbaztion that's great news. From the sounds of it they also semi-confirmed ps<->xbox crossplay as well, which I find the official information has been a little wishy washy on.

PUBG will be crossplay on consoles (X1/PS4), just announced at gamescom's inside xbox.

PS4's crossplay is finally out of beta. Hopefully now all japanese develoeprs will add crossplay.
While it's not announcing the news explicitly, the PS4's cross-play efforts have officially moved out of the beta stage, meaning that the console can support cross-play on any titles that studios provide the functionality for.
