PS4:
- Final Fantasy VII Remake
- God of War IV
- Kingdom Hearts III
- Spiderman
PC:
- Sonic Mania
- Sonic Forces
- South Park: The Fractured But Whole
- Ys VIII
Might also check out the Horizon DLC and I'll just watch Uncharted/TLoU2 on Youtube since it's more entertaining to watch them anyway. Aside from that nothing really stands out as "MUST HAVE!!". Of course, I'm picky as fuck.

@Black-Cell I know who developed it, but it is an Id property and I really don't understand why you think the game is bad. The gameplay is terrific and the story is one of the better told in recent gaming memory.
-
for a game called old school. its gameplay is too COD like. slow, iron sight, cutscene interupt every time. follow linear sequence etc.
-
Mod Note - Let's try and avoid turning this into a list topic. It's just a bit more difficult to have a meaningful conversation when you see a list over a passionate post regarding a specific game or a few games.

Listen. I know you are this contrarian PC diehard, but you are being ridiculous right now.
Is it slow, or like CoD? If you are implying CoD is slow, you may have brain problems. With that said, Wolfenstien has never been as fast or as open ended as Doom, and the new games aren't trying to be Doom. And of course the game has curscenes. It has a story to tell, and a pretty great one at that.
Also, are we being willfully ignorant of all the unskippable cutscenes in Doom?
-
@El-Shmiablo its story is terrible. yet it has forced cutscenes that constantly interrupt while playing.
watch this video. you will see the problems in this game.

@Black-Cell I actually really like The New Order, but I agree about the story not being good, specially since it was one of the main selling points to me, it felt too disconnected and unbelievable from its own world to have a real effect, i really enjoyed the gameplay though, despite some clear misteps with checkpoints in particular.
Still looking forward to The New Colossus though :)

In order
Shenmue 3
Yakuza 1 remake
Sonic Mania

@Black-Cell Is this review serious? Most of the complaints are ridiculous.
"You can dual wield assault rifles for fucks sake!".
“All it is is shoot, shoot shoot!“
Yeah, what the hell is wrong with that? All I get from that review is that the guy is not very funny and can't really form an argument because he is too busy trying (way too hard) to be funny.
-
@Black-Cell This review is like their trying to take the game seriously, when you are supposed to take it more on line with say, 80's action flicks, and not to put too much thought into what's happening, instead, enjoy the ride. Because it's a heck of a ride.
-
@jipostus Pretty much.
Most of the arguments he raised can be held against any shooter made in the past decade. Don't know what personal beef he had with the game. The whole "I'm a real PC gamer" pretentious bullshit made the review almost unbearable to listen to and impossible to take seriously.
-
South Park and The Evil Within 2. I need to make sure I have money for when those two come around.

The whole "I'm a real PC gamer" pretentious bullshit made the review almost unbearable to listen to and impossible to take seriously. To be fair, the genre in general did take a large nose dive about 10 years ago. In among some of the silliness, there was still a number of valid points.

1.Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Glad its coming this year, Xenoblade 1 was one of my favorite games of all time and this looks like it has what i love about it!- Metroid Samus Returns
Never played Metroid II but love Metroid
3.Splatoon 2
4.The Evil Within II
5.Mario Odyssey
- Metroid Samus Returns
-
@El-Shmiablo you dont even have to Shoot shoot shoot the whole way, many sections have very valid stealth strategies and the more open level design is a breath of fresh air compared to other shooters

I'm interested in quite a few games, but the ones I'm the most excited about are probably:
Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana
Knack 2
Evil Within 2

That is a problem tied to the player, not the game if you ask me. I was actually impressed with the script and storytelling. I'm also not one of those people that flip out over cutscenes in games easily, so I have a hard time understanding the latter complaint.
watch this video. you will see the problems in this game.
Why do you need someone else to make a case for you? Are you simply parroting the video or something? Don't you have your own views and ideas? This is a forum, use words to make your case.

If someone has already articulated how you feel about something, I see no issue with posting a video to assist. I for one enjoyed the video and I think a forum is also a place for sharing such media.
