Basically RE2 20th anniversary was this past 20th. They tweet out out this 2 days before the anniversary. The dummy finger and what looks to be a typewriter.
Wild speculation begins. Huber tweeted/retweeted several RE things. But it all turns out it was nothing and they baited everyone. Most of the times it's the fans who go overboard with the speculation and dreaming but Capcom certainly didn't do anything to temper their expectations. Just one more thing to add to the list of things Capcom has mishandled. I hate this company.
-
I'm sure nobody is gone by angry at this /s
-
@Rock
And how is it mishandled?
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the only connection with the dummy finger from RE7? I don't get how that would tie in to RE2 at all, besides coincidentally being two days before an anniversary. Personally, I look at that photo and the text just wishing me a good morning with a smiley face and that's all I see, a company wishing me a good morning. We've gotten to a point where if a game/company even so much as changes their picture on social media, that all of a sudden means a new game MUST be coming. I'd say those unrealistic expectations are more on the consumers rather than the companies themselves. Yes, certain developers do like to drop hints like that but expecting everything to have a deeper meaning is just setting yourself up for disappointment.
Let it cook. RE2: Remake will come out when it's ready. I'd bet a kidney it comes out sometime this year.

I'm always very impressed with how stupid Capcom is.
Nothing's ever gonna top blaming the lack of community interest in the cancellation of Megaman Legends 3.

@ib0show definitely grabbing the Feisar FX 350. Everything else is a strong meh.
-
All of Microsoft's future big exclusives will release on Game Pass the same day they release retail.
Cool, but this honestly smells a bit of desperation.
-
So they're really pushing that then, huh? If I were on Xbox I'd just sub for a month, play through the Halo 6 campaign (if there even is one at this rate) and drop it.

@El-Shmiablo
Not sure if good idea in the long run, although still a cool idea, for now

Kratos gonna blaze it and get lit on 4/20 yall.........God I feel dum for saying that

@DMCMaster looks like Barlog finally got tired of Sean Layden pestering him.

The real joke here is that it's 4/20/2019 /s

@Haru17 Halo has gone to shit ever since 343 took over. I'd sub for Sea of Thieves and maybe Crackdown if that doesn't turn out to be garbage after years of development hell.
-
Whatever the reasons, it's excellent for the consumer. I'm not entirely sure on the library but getting first party games at launch (even if there aren't too many) is great and hopefully others will look at this and improve their own services.
-
@El-Shmiablo Yeah, but Bungie aren't even making singleplayer campaigns anymore, so only like Doom and Wolfenstein are left. Point is, I'd like to have hope for Halo — in the long term.
Fuck expanded universe books though, Blizzard pulls the same shit to bleed their fans and deliver an incomplete story in the actual game.
-
@Haru17 Yeah it is really sad to see how Activision has cannibalized Bungie and turned it into a husk of it's former self.
