@dmcmaster I totally understand that not everyone liked the man, but jeez, few days after he has passed and already these scumbags are pissing on his grave, even though he hasn't been even buried? Just WTF is wrong with people like these? His wife is still in shock, and his friends are still mourning, and these guys are bashing him to the ground, when he can't defend himself at all. EA/Bioware, you're now in total boycott, if you ask me, unless these A-holes apologize.

@jipostus to be fair with EA and Bioware (who I already have blacklisted) it is a former dev of bioware and they have issued a statement condeming what was said.

I've never even heard of Total Buscuit until now. I am amazed about how many people follow random gaming commentators and how much influence and controversy they generally have. I think it is beyond senseless in attacking a dead person, but it goes to show how much influence this commentator had. I doubt people would be bringing him up if he was not important.
I prefer to just play games and stay away from this stuff. It is also another reason why I like EZA and their tasteful approach to reporting on games. I also generally like formal third person writing in criticisms and reviews as I find it puts you into a realm of professionalism instead of being a personality. However, I digress. This is pretty unimportant to the story which is not positive in the slightest. Good for Bioware in saying something.

I personally never liked TB but only heard of him because he had Brandon Jones and Kyle Bosman on when GT closed but that Bioware guy is a fucking asshole.

"Random Gaming commentator" is selling TB a bit short. He was the pioneer of independent games media. EZA wouldn't have been a thing if he hadn't paved the way. Sure, someone else would have done it eventually, but it was TB that did it. He was known for being a consumer advocate to a fault, he cared about what he thought was right and he never pulled his punches. Among other achievements, he's practically responsible for Dark Souls 1 making its way to the PC back in the day, as well Warframe being as successful as it is.
It both amazes and saddens me that you've never heard of him before. I fully recommend you have a look through some of his most popular videos, the "I will now" videos are a personal favourite of mine:

Quest doesn't look like it's for me, but Let's Go is intriguing, a remake of Yellow in clean HD, I just hope the combat and capture mechanics won't be too simplified. It could be a fun little romp while we wait for the true new gen title next year.
