I'm certainly excited to play more. Not too interested in the budget though as I always wanted the series to see its vision through fully back in the early 2000's, even the way 3 looked was too jarring in my opinion due to the technological jump.

Mario movie delayed to April 7th, 2023.
It's been suggested this is to avoid Avatar 2 at the box office, along with a COVID release backlog at Universal necessitating moving some stuff around.
Also, has Miyamoto ever said anything on the NOA account before?

“Regroup on the scope” can mean getting a new set of eyes to assess how to complete the project with the available time and resources.
It can also mean changing the scope of the project from a 1:1 remake to something else entirely.
Vague language, yet, I’m not annoyed. More intrigued than anything.

The new Reggie Fils-Aime book Disrupting The Game is out from today. I can tell by the Audible sample that it's going to be a pretty engrossing read or listen:

Woah thanks for sharing that. I would've never known about it otherwise. I always love me some Inside Baseball so I'll have to pick it up.

Apparently you can buy tickets to watch in IMAX too lmao

@dipset
I might do that. It's on my day off and it gives me something to do. Plus the IMAX theater near me is pretty awesome.

I just saw Everything Everywhere All At Once in IMAX. That movie does more with $25M budget than I've seen $200M movies do. The whole budget was on the screen and it was a great theatre experience. I literally haven't been to an IMAX since The Dark Knight: Rises in 2012.
I recently saw Jackass Forever in Ultra AVX which was a disappointment from a theatre perspective. Audio sucked and you basically pay for a slightly bigger screen. IMAX vs AVX was night and day. Such an awesome experience. I kinda forgot what it was like.

The hell is AVX?

Starfield has been delayed to first half of 2023, along with Arkane's Redfall.
This is a legit shock to me. There hasn't been a single rumour that Starfield development was struggling. On the contrary, indications had been that it was basically done and in the polishing phase. Now, Jason Schreier goes and upends the teatable:
