So around a hour of GTA6 Alpha footage leaked this morning, confirming a few things about it.

I spent a bit of time going through the leaks. It's cool to see but it's soooo early looking. And based on the PS4 footage, I bet it might be 1-2 years old perhaps. Really difficult to make much of anything. Some people on Reddit pointed out the clouds are stamped in from RDR2 and the trees and roads are from GTA V. Just seems like there is a ton of placeholder assets everywhere.
If I can pass some too early to tell judgement, it looks like the movement is very similar to GTA V. And the movement and feel of GTA V was the biggest disappointment for me in comparison to the heavy and violent GTA IV before it. Especially in the car driving. But the car driving in GTA VI leak looks so early and unfinished that I won't even attempt to pass any judgement there.

never played silent hill 2 but remake would be my introduction to series.
but still canceled silent hills was looking most interesting.

Bright side to them remaking Silent Hill 2 is that it's a pretty standalone story. It's got a very lose connection to Silent Hill 4 but it doesn't have any of the occult stuff that most of the other entries tend to focus on. Namely SH1,3, 4, Origins, and Homecoming. That said if you can play the PC version of SH2 with the big Fan patch at least once.

Not looking forward to either Silent Hill 2 or Resident Evil 4. I think they are both really unnecessary remakes.

While I agree with unnecessary I have to admit that RE4 Remake looks sick.

@sheria I'm not so excited for it.
I think you could do some stuff with a remake. Like make it less "action-y" but looking at the RE3 remake I don't think that's the case. They could also put more focus on the village section, would be intersting if half the game takes place there but also I don't think that will be the case.

Meh, RE4 is what it is, it's just doing something for me visually in that new gameplay trailer, that's all.

I'm looking forward to play Re4. I don't like the art direction and gameplay of the original and this looks pretty good.
