Another Sonic prototype that just released, this time for Sonic 3. Only known prototype for this game while it was still in development, and it comes from around the time it was split into two games. Most interesting things about it are that the tracks used in the PC port to get around all the music licensing nonsense this game is known for were actually the original tracks before Michael Jackson and his crew got involved, and also this game was actually planned to have the Drop Dash two decades before Sonic Mania.

Or maybe they’re just taking away attention from the project. Revamp, internal delay, or they want employees to only say they work for Valve and not the title. Not too sure but something is amiss.
