Deep Silver publishing Shenmue 3
The current release date is scheduled for the second half of 2018.
No surprise that it's been given a late 2018 timeframe. Interesting that Deep Silver are publishing. I thought Sony would on PS4.
-
Well Deep Silver seem to have some kind of relationship with SEGA/Atlus these days, they not only did Persona 5 in Europe but Valkyria Revolution, Puyo Tetris and will be doing Yakuza Kiwami
-
@Sieghardt not only Persona 5, but all of Atlus upcoming 3DS games as well.
Having never really had a chance to play Shenmue I can't help but wonder if they do ever plan to release an HD version, or something for new people to catch up, as right now I can't see people not familiarized with the series getting into it out of nowhere.
-
@bard91 I imagine Shenmue HD release timing will depend heavily on how development of Shenmue 3 is going, they dont want to put them out there now and then have Shenmue 3 come out in 2021 or something

Yakuza 6 releasing in March

That limited edition is really nice, I want those glasses
-
@Sieghardt Oh... I do want that box set... And I don't even have my own PS4 yet.
-
Sold. Keep bringing Yakuza games to the West!
-
Holy fuck that is a classy special edition.
-
Only $90 too. The only thing holding me back slightly is not having played Yakuza 1-5... although with Kiwami, I'll at least be shortening that list a bit.
-
While I don't use them another set of Yakuza shot glasses would be nice.
-
@SabotageTheTruth while I'm not certain if 6 will do the same, previoua Yakuzas have included a section that EXTENSIVELY covers the previous games.
I'm talking several hours of media covering pretty much everything important.
-
@El-Shmiablo
I'll have to pop 6 in again, but I believe it has merged the recaps of 0-5 into a single 90 minute video, although I could be wrong as I never fully watched it
-
Yakuza series is seriously the best - even their collector editions are classy

ReCore Definitive Edition officially announced by Microsoft
August 29, $19.99. Improvements and stuff.
That's actually one game I'd really like to try, has anyone here played it?
-
The 29th is too stacked
-
So they're selling a rerelease of a middlingly-reviewed game that already came out on Xbox One? What? Are they even selling it to people who already own the game?
