PC GAMING GEAR THREAD

I'm not sure if I want to share my build, but whatever, here it is anyways...
Note that I build this almost 6 years ago, mostly anyways. only thing I've added later is Graphics card, SSD and HDD. If I would get extra cash from somewhere, I would update the system in it's entirety. But It does run Fallout 4 in 1080p with 60fps, and GTAOnline in 1080p with 60fps (obviously not with full graphics) and it does run Witcher 3 in 1080p, and in 60fps... But with pretty low settings... I can live with it, but I would love to upgrade. Sooner the better.

For those on Windows 10, have you kept your previous OS, how are you finding it and can you still use ps4 controller with all its functions?
I7 4770k with cooler master evo
Using 8 year old Sony Bravia 40" 1080p tv as main screen @ 60hz
This rig suffers frame drops on most games which use Unity engine.
I use vsync in all games, does anyone else get really slight frame rate drops when using vsync, from like 60 to 59.5 or Lower, it really effects the smoothness of the game. Maybe bad frame times.
Desperate for a new build just waiting for the 1080ti.

@robert7lee I have no issues that you speak of Robert7Lee.
Just resurrecting this looking for some advice.
My keyboard is starting to annoy me. I always loved it, but I think I might want to get a new one in a month or so. My current one is from 2011, it is the Logitech G110. Some keys officially kicked the bucket including my Windows key, and the drivers don't work on my new PC with Windows 10. I basically NEVER used any of the bells and whistles other than the USB port and the volume controls. I don't play any hardcore moba games and I haven't done any presets for editing so I really don't need anything as thorough as this one was. I just liked the comfort, size, and feel. Here is a picture of it:
I hear all this debate about mechanical keyboard vs membrane keyboard but I've always liked this Logitech membrane keyboard so I think I'd like to stick with it. I know mechanical feels good because my brother has one but I can't imagine typing and hearing that click click click. Can anybody recommend me a keyboard that is similar? In the $100-150 ABSOLUTE MAX range?
Or possibly sell me on something else that you use and enjoy?
New chair is coming up next but one thing at a time.
I'm a big fan of the Razer Huntsman, it doesn't have any of those extra macro keys, volume control is through the fn command and f1-f3 or it's got it's own buttons on the more expensive version. It's opto-mechanical though, so definitely clicky and is $150. I haven't used it but their ornata chroma is mecha-membrane and $100 though if you want to look into it, not sure if it's clicky or not. I've had their blackwidow before as well and liked it but the version I had it did have a lot of the extra keys like your logitech, which is why I switched off of it. If it's possible for you to get into a best buy and see any on display or I've even seem some at target, the arrow keys are exposed on the packaging if you want to check any out and get a feel for them.
Thanks Kristen! I was at Best Buy a few weekends ago and they have officially become a wasteland. There wasn't one piece of useful gaming equipment in sight. Well - any equipment for that matter. You know those mice and keyboards that are in plastic packaging and hang off a clip? That's what they had tons of. Barely any movies, barely any games. LOTS of appliances like washing machines. I hadn't been there in YEARS and it was very different from what I remembered.
With that said, this weekend I might try a specialty shop called Canada Computers. I know what to look out for now. I believe they have TONS of options so I needed a good starting place. THANKS!
UPDATE - I got the Razer Ornata. I think it felt the best out of everything at the store including some of the more expensive ones. I love it for gaming, but for typing a lot its not the best. Regardless, I didn't realize how badly I needed to update until I got this new keyboard. The built in wrist rest is a game changer.
Back with another question. I think I want to upgrade my chair now. I currently have a Serta computer chair which you'd think is quite comfortable because they are a general furniture company, but the half back on it really makes me wish I had somewhere to rest my neck. I want to use my PC for gaming waaaaay more than I currently do hence the upgrades to kb/m but now I think to make it all worthwhile, its time for a chair.
I'm thinking about $250-300 MAX. Does anybody have experience with any of these:
https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=1333_1334&item_id=086607 --> I sat on this one in-store and really liked it but I think they only have the display left.
^^ $100 off. Seems to be a popular one too.
Thanks for any and all help! What chair do you use?

Do not buy gaming chairs. You are literally paying an extra 100-200 bux for some stripes and a logo.
I use some shit I got from Staples for 80 bux 5 years ago and it's still kickin'.

Gaming chairs are the only ones I seem to find have the full back though.
