    Sonic Mania: Drop Dash

According to Christian Whitehead, the Drop Dash was designed with new players in mind.

In gameplay, the Drop Dash is charged in midair when initiated. Doing so will release the Spin Dash once the playable character touches the ground. This allows the player to gain instant speed just after a drop or jump from midair. However, the dash will not be executed if the player takes damage before landing.

The Drop Dash made its first appearance in Sonic Mania as a move used exclusively by Sonic the Hedgehog. Super Sonic can also use this move, and will cause a mini earthquake upon impact with the ground.

    Crash Bandicoot N'Sane Trilogy

The High Road (カメカメ ジャンプ lit. Turtle Turtle Jump in Japanese) is the twenty-third level (including boss fights), is the second and last bridge type of level and is the sixth level of the third island in the original Crash Bandicoot and the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy remaster of the first game. This level is like Road to Nowhere, but with more complex jumps. It has slippery platforms and platforms that break. There are many turtles which can be knocked over so Crash can bounce further and is essential for proceeding through the level.

There is a secret area behind the entrance to the level, in which Crash can move and jump and bridge platforms will appear in certain spots. This leads to some crates. A wumpa fruit hanging over the edge is the hint that there is a path there.

This level is noticeably harder in the N. Sane Trilogy than the original version, due to the different controls. Vicarious Visions commented on this, admitting that the level was not meant to be so difficult, and not adjusting the level to the new controls was a mistake. Whilst not particularly difficult in the original, this is considered by many to be the hardest level in the N. Sane Trilogy.

    • Screen appears stretched in 4:3 and 5:4 resolutions

    • Attempting to run the game in 16:9 or 16:10 portrait display may cause the game to crash.

    • Squadmates may repeatedly teleport on top of the player, and may follow when told not to.

    • Objects in space may rotate slowly or may appear jittery when using the right control stick.

    • Repeatedly skipping opening cinematics on the Remnant City critical path mission can cause Ryder to hang in mid-air.

    • We are aware of some areas where progression events may fail to trigger. If you encounter this you may be able to get past this by leaving the area and returning

    • Running in a zig-zag pattern can result in Ryder entering an unintended animation state.

    • Audio may stop during play. Closing and restarting the game will restore audio.
