Ghost of Tsushima (PS4)
-
@sabotagethetruth there's seemingly plenty of other games where that's a possibility. I don't need fantasy in every game about japan.
-
@tokyoslim That crab I posted is as real as the sunshine.
I don't see them really straying much from what they've shown, luckily. If they do get a little silly with it, I imagine that'd be potential DLC but even then... nah, probably not.

@sabotagethetruth said in Ghost of Tsushima (PS4):
That crab I posted is as real as the sunshine.
The Danny Boyle movie?
-
Jason Schreier's saying that the TLoU Part II delay affects also Tsushima's release date, moving it to later 2020.
-
@sentinel-beach I entirely expect them to change it into a PS5 game.
-
I still think it'll come out on both. At this rate there's only gonna be a few months' time window to wait for the PS5 version, though, sooooo... I don't know. PS4 version in, say, August, or PS5 version in maybe November? Will people wait?
-
@sentinel-beach
Or probably one of the games that during the PS5 launch get PS5 patches
-
I hope this game doesn't have anything near to fantasy.
-
Surprise mother fucker, you die 5 minutes in and get resurrected by Oni who give you a stylish gauntlet to absorb the souls of various feudal demons.......wait a minute.
-
New story trailer and release date announced: June 26th.
Pretty close to The Last of Us Part II, but gotta leave some room to the PS5 hype I imagine!
-
Nice! Sooner than I anticipated. Big games in every month now till the summer. The main character seemed finally interesting, got some meat on his bones with all that dialogue.
-
Am I the only one kinda disappointed this was just randomly dropped mid week? Kinda thought we'e get something this big in a State of Play or something. Hopefully this means Playstation has enough big announcements they didn't feel they needed to elevate this reveal a little more.
-
@themarcv I was expecting them to do it like this since they announced the release date for GoW the exact same way in 2018, so I cant say I share your disappointment. This makes me more excited for the next State of Play, tbh. The likelihood of them showing something new is much higher now.
Anyway, the trailer's pretty great. There's a Japanese version that's also really sick. They already confirmed that you can play it in Japanese with English subtitles from the get go, I'm so hyped for that.
-
@bam541 Guess I would have preferred a bigger blow out for this like they did with TLOU 2. State of Play trailer enclosing release date and at the same time a big preview of the game from media outlets.
Good pull on the GoW release date, I guess I've just been a little disappointed in Sony's communication with the public, last year no pressers, got State of Plays instead which have been fine but I must miss Sony of old blowing my mind with insane E3 pressers.
-
Do you know how I prepared Samurai?
-
@themarcv yeah, I feel like everyone missed the Sony who continuously blew our minds years ago. The upcoming next gen cycle's a good time to reset though, so fingers crossed.
-
I just hope this is a focused & varied 30ish hour campaign. I can't face spending 80 hours clearing out enemy camps.
-
@bam541 I really hope so, I hope this year or so break has allowed them to reload the chambers and the PS5 reveal will blow us away.
-
Tbh last trailer was dissapointing for me. Also, game looks worse than before. I don't know, I am hesitating to play it this gen; even on PS4 Pro.
