Ghost of Tsushima (PS4)
-
The option to play the whole game in Japanese has been confirmed.

I think this may be my game of the show. Sucker Punch are playing to the strengths of samurai & ninja stories and in particular Japanese cinema in their visual approach.
-
@sentinel-beach This is what I needed!
-
@sentinel-beach This game just keeps getting better.
-
I secretly hope there will be some sort of Wu-Tang reference in the game.
-
-
Fun fact: The old PS2/PS3 Genji games were set about 100 years before ghosts of Tsushima takes place. If you'll recall, it too was inspired by history and featured giant enemy crabs whose weakpoints could be struck for massive damage.
I low-key hope there's some kind of reference to enemy crabs in Ghosts
-
I'm just happy that this and Shadows Die Twice mark the return of the bad ass Samurai gaming genre. They both look AMAZING.
I lean more towards Shadows Die Twice cuz of my Miyazaki fanboism tho
-
@ochi By the time of Ghosts of Tsushima, all the giant enemy crabs had been conquered and eaten with yuzu soy butter.
-
@ochi Can't wait for the "Historical Battles That Actually Took Place" DLC that consists of nothing but giant crab battles. I wonder how they'll work the confirmed Kirby crossover into it all.
-
If there are no giant crabs hidden in some cave somewhere in the game, that will take it down about 9 points in my book
-
If there are any giant crabs in this game, then they MUST allow us to play as one. Imagine the intimate one-on-one fight that we saw near the end of the trailer, but with giant crabs. Man oh man, day one purchase for sure.
-
Most online communities - hopefully this game is a realistic depiction of the time period.
Our community - there better be giant crabs and Wu-Tang!... Not saying you all are wrong though. I want giant crabs too.
-
@sabotagethetruth I'm I'm the "I hope there's no giant crabs" camp. I just like playing along that giant crabs are a historically accurate representation of the time period.
Also, Wu-Tang is forever. Puffy's aight, but Wu- Tang is for the children. You know this, man.
-
@tokyoslim You know you want to fight a giant version of this.
-
@sabotagethetruth there's seemingly plenty of other games where that's a possibility. I don't need fantasy in every game about japan.
-
@tokyoslim That crab I posted is as real as the sunshine.
I don't see them really straying much from what they've shown, luckily. If they do get a little silly with it, I imagine that'd be potential DLC but even then... nah, probably not.
-
@sabotagethetruth said in Ghost of Tsushima (PS4):
That crab I posted is as real as the sunshine.
The Danny Boyle movie?
-
Jason Schreier's saying that the TLoU Part II delay affects also Tsushima's release date, moving it to later 2020.
-
@sentinel-beach I entirely expect them to change it into a PS5 game.
