Resident Evil 2 Remake (PS4/XB1/PC)

@DMCMaster sometimes you don't recover the knife even if you kill the zombie; I used it twice in the same opponent and couldn't retrieve it after.

Played the demo over the weekend, I was already sold but now I'm foaming at the mouth. Pretty much exactly what I wanted, I just can't wait to see all the little twist they threw in. Really don't have many complaints, loved everyone of the 30 mins I got to spend with it and I'm so happy its coming so soon, fantastic demo.

Bring it! I'm ready!

Nope, can't play with a mouse and keyboard in the living room after all. I mean, I could, but coffee tables are too low for optimal use. It's not fun. Gaming PCs just aren't meant for home theaters. I'm so torn about which version to get.

@ezekiel
You could always get one of thoese PS4 or X1 USB dongles to use a controller across the room
God damn this jumped up in price, could of sworn these were like $30 max

I'm not sure whether or not this will overtake RE7, but excluding 7 I'm thinking this is shaping up to be the best horror game in a long while. I already knew the graphics looked great, but after playing the demo I'm struck by how much better the controls feel than RE4 and 5. Leon moves fluidly, and even just the pistol firing just feels so right. My hype game of the year for sure this year.

@ezekiel If you have a Switch pro-controller, then you can connect it to your PC pretty easily.

Some things to possibly remember

I bought the Xbox One Wireless Controller for Windows with the adaptor dongle off of Amazon when Forza Horizon 4 released.
It’s expensive, but I don’t regret it one bit and use it quite often. It works great and some games just feel better or at least more stable with a controller. Mainly driving games and third person action games like Forza, Dark Souls, Bayonetta. I’d imagine RE2 can benefit from the controller.

Looks like the embargo ends in 14 hours, we'll soon know if it scored a 90 or a 92!

Also copies are out in the wild

I. CANNOT. WAIT!
What are the odds of me beating RE2 on PS1 if I start tonight for 2 hours, 2 hours tomorrow morn, 2 hours tomorrow night, and so on until Friday. I'm not familiar because the last time I played it, I was so stoned it took me forever.

Easily enough time.

I've put a good 4 hours in now and I must say, they have done a really good job here.

Maybe, or at least on par.

I'd say its better, the atmosphere almost never let's up, only in save rooms do I feel any safety and the fact that zombies can bust thru doors certainly helps in keeping the tension up unlike 7 where all you had to do was close a door to escape the molded.

Holy shit, Mr X is like the Terminator lol.
