Both of em' has a Dark Souls easter egg.

  • Here's some photo mode stuff from Spider-Man that i forgot to share. I'll probably take more photos when i play the DLCs, can't wait for that.

  • I'm going to take photos from Uncharted 4, one photo per chapter. Starting from 1-6 (no chapter 4, totally forgot about it lol), bottom to top.

  • Uncharted 4 photo tour continues, chapter 7-8

The Rossi Estate is probably my second favorite environment in the whole game, despite it being so short (only 2 chapters). My plan to progress through at least 4 chapters is halted because there's so many cool photo moments from chapter 7, and i ended up spending 2 hours taking 6 photos (and enjoying the game, of course). I'll only post two, saving the other ones as a bonus after i'm done with this playthrough.

Here's one each from chapters 6 & 7, bottom to top. I know i already took a photo from chapter 6, but i can't resist the 007 vibes. Next time i'll post from all the Scotland chapters.

  • Thanks to @Sazime for teaching me how to use Steam as a sweet way to host you screen shots!

Taken using the in-game cell phone/PS Share button, edited in Adobe Lightroom. Inspired by the incredible work of Andrew Cull on Flickr. He is a virtual photographer who BLEW ME AWAY with his work from 2018 titles such as God of War and Assassin's Creed. I intend on actually trying to get on another level with my virtual photography in 2019 because it can look so amazing. Anyways, here is my own stuff.

  • @dipset That castle shot is so sick!

This reminds me that i need to continue my Uncharted 4 photo tour. I got so many ideas regarding the shots i can take along the way.

  • @bam541

Not to derail this thread, we can continue talking in DM. But if you have any good tips for photo modes on PS4 and PC, I'd appreciate it. I'm looking into ReShade which seems to be what a lot of these virtual photographers use. I really want to step it up.

Fyi, I think the big building is from a cut scene actually so I can't take full credit. AND your Uncharted pics are great. Apparently there is a big PS4 photography community on Flickr. You should check it out.

  • @dipset I did the same thing you did, being inspired by other people. I usually just stumble upon really good photos made by other people, and start to think about how can i recreate that shot by myself. You're also using editing software, which is potentially many steps beyond me. I'm sure cool ideas of your own will pop up as you continue. That's basically how most of my Uncharted 4 photos come up, just spur of the moment thoughts. It also helps that I have a quite intensive memory about the environments and situations in that game, so i guess a new tip from me is learn the games that you're interested in doing photo modes.

Also, thanks! For some reason it never came up in my mind that i should try joining Flickr instead of just browsing for pics there, so thanks bringing that up.

  • Uncharted 4 photo mode tour, part III (changing the format up to avoid spoilers, forgot about that rule before). Unsurprisingly, I have abandoned my one photo per chapter rule and instead I do updates in each different locations for now (can't do this on the last location).

Ah, Scotland. The worst part of the game, and it's still 10/10 to me. Unfortunately I didn't take any good pictures during the early parts during this location. Going for a more ominous theme on some of the photos.

  • Uncharted 4 photo mode tour part IV (maybe last?). This is the biggest part yet, took so many photos.

The Madagaskar chapters (chapter 10 and 11) are so god damn amazing. So many things happened in two chapters, and they're probably the most technically defining chapters of the game. The semi open world in chapter 10 is unlike anything in an Uncharted game, and the market section in chapter 11 is so full of life and detail. Not to mention, the car chase is the absolute best set piece in any Uncharted game.

This whole photo mode playthrough has been a pretty eye opening experience for me. Photo mode is a true god send feature, and I hope more games expand on it in the future. It's so fun to just construct photos out of a ordinary gameplay experience. I also did this playthrough in HUD-less mode, and that in it self makes the fun factor turn up to 20. Cinematic games like this are made to be experienced without the HUD.

Also, i really felt that my inner photography soul is satiated after this part, so I might (heavy emphasis on this) focus on just playing the game from this point onwards since I'm having such a blast.

  • @bam541

So long as you aren't bored with Uncharted 4 - don't stop keep em coming!

Here is my first foray into GT Sport and I intend on keeping this up and improving. I used both "Scapes" and the in-game photo mode from saving replay. I can't quite get the in-game photo features to do what I want it to do (or at least I haven't taken the time to figure it out) so I take the photos flat then mess around in Lightroom.

Here I was inspired by the interesting take on sports photos by the photographer for the Scuderia Ferrari instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/p/BuE4aXInThZ/

Not my proudest work. It came out sorta weird looking but I was trying to imitate a real life photo in a video game. Also turned out kinda pixelated and low res based on all the fooling around I did in Adobe. I think I'm going to keep it more vanilla from now on.

I finally signed up for Flickr and want to keep this up. Follow me here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/142451433@N06/

  • Sekiro doesn't have a photo mode which is quite disappointing because I am seeing a few things I'd like to try by moving the camera around. I'm only familiar with easy to use photo tools like Reshade and Nvidia Ansel. I am having a hard time understanding photo injectors such the Sekiro one by Jim2point0 or Frans Bouma camera tools. If somebody can steer me in the right direction on where to learn, I would appreciate it very much. I think the idea of "injecting" code using an injector is universal if you have used it for another purpose in the past?

Anyways, here are some shots from Sekiro. Nothing fancy until I figure out how to break the camera:
