this is 2020 almost. by that logic none of games should have evolved.metal gear should remain NES like one but with updated visuals and not to evolved into what it become. come on.
just imagine modern 3D street of rage with todays graphics it would be.

There are tons of other games I can play if I want something else. What I want is a great side scrolling beatemup with a fantastic soundtrack.Also, where did I say that games shouldn't evolve?

@B-Cell If you want a 3D Streets of Rage/Final Fight, play either the Spikeout series (if you can find it in an arcade or the Xbox exclusive sequel), God Hand (PS2/PSN), Anarchy Reigns, Sengoku Basara, or Demolish Fist (also arcade only). Not every franchise has to go 3D. 3D does not make it automatically a great game. I'm glad they kept it 2D, because it fucking works.

Please stop.im not saying it looks bad. it doesnot and im also looking forward to playing it as Axel. but if exact same game was released in my childhood. my mind was blown away.
now i will play just to refresh my childhood memory.

@axel well I guess we're not getting Max or Zan but a hybrid instead. He looks cool. My favourite was always Max but you can't have it all. I'm getting more hyped for this. Killer tunes too (shocker).

Nice! That music. But I'm kinda O_O seeing that Jax clone from Mortal Kombat, even says gotcha, lol. Not a complaint, though. I'm sure he'll fit in just fine.
