@sentinel-beach This news bums me out on two fronts. I've sort of reconciled with the fact that it's probably a next-gen title and we won't be getting a whiff of it for at least another year.

I actually really like that they seem to be waiting a long time before revealing it. I'm assuming when they do announce it, it'll be out within 9 months.

@dmcmaster I agree, Geoff Keighley also said it could be true or he could be lying to us.
If Rocksteady isn't at TGA the PS5 reveal will have some heavy hitters instead of having the regular PS Meeting where they talk mostly concept with a couple reveals.

i'm literally only turning it on to see new game trailer announcements. otherwise the awards themselves are pretty shit this year imo.

@yoshi they've always been from my perspective and I don't really see it changing tbh, and in that I'm honestly conflicted as I'm interested in seeing any trailers and announcements but I don't particular care in supporting the show, I don't remember if the allies stream them but I certainly hope they do.

What a strange concept. Celebrating a reveal for a game that isn't out. We need a break from TLOU 2. We've seen enough. Can't show too much. Maybe just a date.

Warner Bros. Montreal will be in LA to during TGA to meet with WB partners to show their work, coincidence? I THINK NOT. Rumour is Court of Owls Batman game.

Personally I wouldn't be upset if Joker showed up in a Court of Owls game, but it should be in smaller minor ways instead of "surprise I've been the star all along "

@dmcmaster While I enjoyed Arkham Origins, I found the Joker stuff to be really lazy. Would have enjoyed it much more without him, not to mention Troy Baker's Mark Hamill's Joker impression is meh at best.

I have to agree a bit, although I will admit we were probably bound to get a game about or featuring Batman's first encounter with Joker sooner or later,and that overall I did enjoy origins. He did feel shoehorned in, along side the 20 other first encounters featured in it.And a few members of WB Montreal have been tweeting pics of themselves wearing Court of Owls shirts.....Batman confirmed I guess.

Acting more as a loose adaptation setting it up as a year 3-4 event in Batman's career, with Dick Grayson as Robin. Assuming it ties to the Arkham-verse.

Complete adaptation, but disconnected from Arkham.
Although I think a mid career Batman tied to the Arkham-verse seems more plausible to me, that and I can see WB doing something like "Get the season pass for early access to Arkham Origins Remastered/ Return to Arkham Origins "
