Minecraft bought for Switch but want to play on PC

I bought this game on Switch for my daughter. Works great there.
Can I also play the game (without an additional cost) on PC using the same account? I'm having a lot of trouble doing that. I used a Microsoft account on Switch and the PC version asks for a Mojang account, how do I resolve these issues?

why didn't you buy it on PC if you wanted to play the PC version?

@travelingsnowman I think Play Anywhere only works if you purchase on the Microsoft Store or XBL.
