Problem I'm going through right now with FedEx after I bought those fancy Uniqlo facemasks with the 3 layers. It's been 2.5 weeks, they "attempted delivery" (I was home all day) and it's sat at a warehouse lord knows where for a week now. Customer service won't pick up.

@dipset that said, Canada Post has said my Xbox Series X is “in transit” for over a week in Richmond, which is about 20 minutes from my house, with an estimated delivery of 1-11 days.

@DIPSET We recently learned that we may miss your delivery promise for your Amazon.ca Order and apologize for the inconvenience. You'll still receive the item and you can track the status of or make any changes to your order under Your Orders on Amazon.ca:

Maybe open up a thread with Amazon support. I recently bought something from Amazon.COM which meant it went through the International support staff and my product was barely delayed but because they didn't update me on the status, they completely waived the border and delivery fee. So I paid for it but then it was rebated to my credit card once I received it. It was surprisingly painless and the one simple email got my product moving.

@dipset And it arrived. Thanks though!

So so SO much bigger and uglier than I could have ever imagined. It looks bad 80s.

Still not been charged by Walmart, nor has it "shipped " yet.
Can't believe I actually have a free PS5 atm lol

@dmcmaster Well not running the games, just acting as a display screen.

Hope Sony brings remote play for PS Vita.

Has anyone being successful with data transfer from PS4? I'm trying for the 3rd day and each time it ends with an error (and if I'm extremely lucky it will move at least some games). On top of that it's extremely slow even with wired LAN. And games that was transferred take more space than they did on PS4 (or maybe I've lost some space after failed attempts).
-
@ffff0 it's easier just to download from cloud storage instead.
that's what i did.

I'm hearing murmurs that Wal Mart Canada is getting PS5's tomorrow.
I'm not gonna bite yet because of other expenses but let's pretend I have a PS5 and I want to play an open world game. Which do I go for: Ghost of Tsushima or Assassin's Creed Valhalla? I feel like both are just right there in the same genre, both have traversal mechanics, both have stealth and action combat, and both are long. There can only be one.
-
@dipset You sound like me. I was like, "I will just order one. Somebody will want it. And if they don't, I can just flip it on Craigslist for a bit of a profit". It lasted exactly 1 day in my house before I opened it.
Game Deals Canada twitter?

Straight from the whales humpback:
If they can restock this soon then I expect it won't be impossible to get one in the new year. I'll hold off and finish off Yakuza and Cyberpunk. I might set aside like $800 for PS5, 3D Audio Heaset, Demon's, and another game. I have like $200 in TD Reward Points too.
-
@dipset Tsushima.
I have played neither, but have plenty of friends that have played both, and all of them say that Tsushima is what AC should be instead of what it is.
-
EB Canada also getting a restock at 8am PT / 11am ET Thursday December 3.
-
Welp Walmart finally charged me, and it's apparently on it's way right now too.....so 2nd PS5 for free?

I've finished both. Personally, I preferred Ghost of Tsushima but both are solid options. Ghost of Tsushima is not that long of a game, which I consider a good thing. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a lot longer than it needed to be.
