I've known about this movie for a while now because some friends of a friend worked on it in the east coast of Canada. From their words, "this movie is going to be fantastic". I loved "The Witch" and it holds a special place in my heart because I wrote my last essay of university on that film for a gothic literature class.
2015 feels like yesterday, but I'm ready for Eggers follow up.

Safdie brothers ("Good Time") are giving Adam Sandler a chance to shine. And it could work, looks promising.

This will be worse than I expect and I wasn't even expecting anything from it. Also, trailer is really boring. Congratulations!

Cannot unhear RLM's Mike in this one. Still can't believe they brought him back, lol.

Judging by the trailer, I'm afraid that the plot is going to be a mess. They're trying to include too many variables into a plot that has gone past its exposition phase, while trying to create an overarching narrative spanning five movies that weren't meant to be so cohesive. Just Spectre alone had content and cast that could have been used in two different movies.

I didn't like the trailer and new agent.

Wonder Woman 1984 – Official Trailer
Youtube VideoThe synth kept this nicely together. Seems like a cheerful and harmless piece of cinema.

GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE - Official Trailer (HD)
Youtube VideoI think I quite liked the atmosphere in this one. Didn't seem to go for easy laughs or anything like that. Some solid build-up and the trailer didn't reveal too much beyond the point that you'd pretty much guess yourself already after reading the premise.

I like how they showed JUUUST enough of the nostalgia to flavor the new setting. Like I know Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts are going to show up at some point, but you don't need to unload all of that in the trailer. Paul Rudd is a good addition. Finn Wolfhard, I can get into it.
RIP Harold Ramis, BTW

It lacks the shouting and slapping of the last movie.

Won't have the dry humor, the sardonic dialogue of the first two, especially 1. These producers and artists are incapable. In fact, it looks rather depressing. Also, I feel New York is part of the DNA of Ghostbusters. Pass. Never watched the 2016 movie, will likely never watch this.
Coincidentally, I watched the 4K versions of GB1 and 2 last week, which look splendid. Hadn't seen GB2 since I was a child, but still remembered all the tunes.

Christopher Nolan comes again. Damn, what a great trailer this is! John David Washington seems perfect and the score by Ludwig Göransson gives this an outstanding atmosphere.
